We've been talking about going to Los Banos two times a year, instead of our usual one, for the spring scale event. We just planned it and told each other,"You're going!" October 15,16,17, what a good time!
Gary's Yukon got packed to the gills, wish I had a picture. Byron and I rode up with Ryan whose truck was also stuffed. Jonathon and Bob drove up solo, Brian and Don met us up there on Saturday.
Friday was 93 degrees hot and clear, we towed all day and flew electrics too. Dinner at the Woolgrower's restaurant was outstanding as always. Saturday was a little cooler with some clouds. Some of the guys from SBSS came out to join us. Peter brought his Pegasus, so two towplanes and a lot of gliders were in the air all day. We also flew the Grobe which did really well on the slope to our enjoyment. Jonathon and Gary were flying their 4M Baudis Saltos, having a blast. I put my Duo Discus together, and the wind was probably...Continue Reading

Fabio Marin AKA "Slope Addict" rebuilt this EPP P-38. I originally built two of them. I kept one and sold the other. It changed owners a few times and I managed to get it back in well used condition. It sat in my garage for a few years, Fabio recently gave it a new home and a much needed rebuild. He did a great job, and it was nice to fly it again. They are 1/12th scale at 52" 6062 airfoil.
