So these two images show the 64mm 10 blade eletroplated units

Has anyone had any success with them and can you confirm that these are in fact
balanced from as purchased. I have a suspicion that they might be unbalanced. Which would mean adding what ever compound to the impeller to balance.

Your thoughts

Would appreciate any advise some body can give on how this is done since the
manual is written in chinglish....Not so user friendly as one might believe.

Yes....granted I do not have alot of experience but that's why I have posted this to
a) learn how to if someone can explain. b) understand how the walkera products work.

Many thanks

Hey there....I seem to have done some damage to my 9X when I received the
9X is decided to remove the standard module and install an FRsky module.

During the removal & install process I thought that I needed grind down the
contact pins that protrude from the module cavity once one has removed the
original 9x rx.

About 2months ago. Back I saw the 9XR Pro and decided to order that without the module as I was having problems getting the 9X now with the instralled FRsky module to bind.

I then realized that I had actually done damage.....by grinding the pins in the module bay down as the FRsky module did not see to make contact and I assumed that I needed to grind down the pins to allow the new module to make contact.

Once the 9XRPro arrived and I removed the FRsky module from the 9X and installed it into the 9XR Pro. I realised my mistake.

Can anyone help with a solution of the problem on the pins that have now been ground down

So I am new to this hobby and getting used to all of the terminology. I have read quite alot about what conditions there should be for a beginner and what type of plane a beginner should ideally use to get used to the controls.

However I cannot seem to find any discussions on the type of surfaces one should consider when starting out. What I have come to realize. Is that the bigger planes those that are normally scale 1/5 - 1/8 normally have better success on the grass and others do. So if you have say a 1100mm or 1400mm EPO or EPP plane there could be a hiccup with take off's and landings.

Those RC pilots that enjoy the hassle free flights and are not forced to comply with club rules and just park somewhere and just fly for the love and enjoyment of the hobby seem to have more knowlegdge of what effects these surfaces have on the plane and it would appear that the learning curve is far steeper for someone doing this type of flying.

I would welcome anyones thoughts on this.
