Buddy and the Amazing Technotronic Dreamboard (3 min 30 sec)

I built the Electric Water-Jet Powered surfboard featured in this video. It allows Ventura's own Buddy the Surf Dog to hang 10 all by himself.

Here are some more pics of my scale micron project.

Emignon has done a much more detailed job with his Micron Airwolf (I'm envious!)

Here is Emignon's Airwolf blog thread

I haven't worked on it for months, but the airwolf got me spurred in to action.

Finally got some blog-worthy pics.

This thread would be useless without pics.

This is the RCsuperpowers.com F-117 Nighthawk with some Himaxx EDF's and a newly installed rudder.

InstantRC A10 Maiden

After following this thread for a while and flying the GWS A-10 (Pictures and Video in this thread), I got two of these kits and have been flying them around the park. I got a few of the flights, and all the crashes, on film.

This A-10 actually uses the same 5800kv feigao motors I had on the much larger GWS model but in EDF40's instead of EDF50's. Also a smaller battery, 900 mAh as opposed to a 1325.

The first flight was very short due to reversed Ailerons. I made some last-minute changes and switched 'em. Whoops.

I was able to fly it right after each crash after liberal amounts of CA, ZAP and tape.

The second flight I was just hot-dogging and dumped it for no reason.

Strangely enough, I didn't mind as much because I knew it was entirely pilot error.

The third flight was the only one where I didn't crash it, but one of the EDF's came off while landing. It was barely glued on (no tape) and I'm suprised it didn't come off in flight.

This model has reached the end of it's life. But the second one has been painted grey and will get the same motors and some smaller electronics.

Good thing it's only a DX3D and didn't hurt him or the heli.

I'm trying to build a tiny scale heli from the Micron.
The body will be paper or maybe formed .010 polystyrene?

Flaperon Servo Picture

Here's a blurry pic of the dual servo setup for flaperons/spoilerons on the GWS A10.

As far as I have read, Flaperons and Spoilerons are the same thing: just up or down.

Does anyone have any experience with these? Should they be up or down for landing and what kind of elevator compensation is used?

Never used em before.

Flew great! I am having so much fun with this plane.

Here's 2 videos. I Compressed them but they are still big ~ 20meg but should start streaming right off the bat.

Also, this BLOG is also a small discussion group so feel free to reply/comment if you have any. I'd love to hear them.

It can still be used as a GALLERY, just post pictures only.
