Greetings!!

well, I guess this is where I'm supposed to post a couple things about myself and my hangar…

Hhhmm... let's see... well, I suppose like a bazillion others out there, the intrigue and fascination of flying started as a kid... and in my case, my father was a hot shot US Marine Corps fighter pilot during the 1960 - 1976 timeframe, so full scale airplanes, aero clubs, airfields, air shows and stories about sorties in Viet Nam has always been part of my life growin' up. Of course Saturday matinees on TV of John Wayne in "Flying Tigers" and "Flying Leathernecks" kept my imagination pretty fresh.

True story... since my dad was a hot shot highly decorated fighter pilot, and these jet jockey types are a fairly close network of guys I guess, everyone knew everyone in the fleet it seemed and well, I can't remember the name of who my dad knew that was flyin with the Blue Angels at the time, but we had a BBQ at our house once when we were stationed at Coronado, CA (heaven on earth) and a couple of the Blue Angels pilots showed up after the air show we'd been to that day!! I was about 9 or 10 years old at the time so these guys were like 'gods' to me... and so I recall one of the pilots drove up in his brand new silver & black Camaro Z-28 and he had a dog-gone Playboy Bunny as a date (no bunny outfit ) ….
