As some of you know I help out with car and aircraft oriented stuff over at BigSquidRc when I can. This weekend I was able to witness a rc car record being smashed. Think of watching QQ or Andrew jesky flying for the first time when you were learning to fly planes and how much you were taken back by what you seen those guys do with rc planes. Even though I've run cars for years my jaw dropped and it was difficult to comprehend what I was seeing and filming as it happened. Hucking a rc car well beyond 200 feet and landing is something you just have to see to believe. To put it into perspective.. The Bigfoot monster truck set a record for jumping a bit over 200 feet and over a passenger jet. An rc car went well beyond that distance and could of easily cleared a 747's wingspan. Congratulations to Paul Bludgen from Midlothian IL on breaking the record.
