Sorry no, blog report from last week. We had a rain out. I got there just as the sky opened up. Some of the guys got some flying in just before the deluge. I understand the flying was pretty good, with a strong NE wind.
Hopefully next week, much better conditions will prevail (i.e. dry).

I've been out of town or a couple weekends. I apologize for the shortness of blog coverage. This weekend, on my first day back, I flew more than I photographed (unusual I know). Trying to soak up some much needed stick time. We had a light crowd, due to two things. A so-so weather report and an FSS contest.
Actually it turned out to be a great day. The wind was light, but stronger than predicted, about 10mph. And the thermals were passing through in large waves. It was easy to speck out and make a speed run.
The only issue I had was getting to the East side. Waste Mgt has been performing some maintenance and the East side top was pretty rough. For you guys having small cars (not me, thank you), you may need to approach along the South side of the hill from the SE bowl.
Looks like good wind this next weekend, hope to see everyone up there.
