Wind Wind! Wind! Finally some decent wind (~15mph)and it was almost directly on the East side. The return of wind brought out a good sized crowd. Lots of air traffic, at times we could have used some full time traffic controllers. To cap off the day, we headed down to the Peachtree with probably the largest crowd of flyers they have had. All in all, a great day with few crashes, and lots of smiles.

With several of the guys up in Ocala at the FSS TD contest, a small group showed up Saturday. Again, it was a typical mid summer Florida day. A light breeze and very hot. Nothing exciting to report, although Paul did break his Shadow fuse on some rough ground.

It was predicted basically a windless day, but that was not the case. We had about a 10mph wind out of the West. So we had some good sloping for a bit. The soaring gods were not going to allow that, so the last hour of the day was basically windless day as predicted!
