OK. I was hanging out at the LHS last night and a lot of Taigen 1/16th scale tanks came in. We ended up playing...
Just Playing - Taigen King Tiger RC Tank Test & FPV Quad Chase (1 min 18 sec)

I ended up coming home with the Tiger I and my son and I ran it for a long, long time. Even though mine is plastic, it works just as good as the all metal one in the video. And it's a lot lighter. I think my son would have had trouble carrying the King Tiger.

I've been meaning to take an inventory recently of all my RC stuff. I'm not home, but I decided to see how much I could remember and put together a list of everything that is in current working condition, meaning I could grab it and go out the door. I know I am missing some things too.

My wife has been bragging about my RC skills and collection to other parents during my son's basketball practice. I guess she gave up complaining after I filled the basement rooms and took over parts of two or three rooms on the first floor.

--edit--
Actually, since I've start fixing and building things, I've been applying what I've learned to fixing a lot around the house. She does appreciate that. It is something I spend a lot of time doing with my son. Plus the aerial photos are great.

Well I picked up the Yuneec Q500 Typhoon last night, but the weather looks like I will be staying indoors for a few days. That's fine because I have to fix the DHC-2 Beaver Island Wings and get the floats on it for some snow flying.

I did start off with heli's and love flying them. The new Blade 360 has caught my eye and I am thinking about getting one. The problem is where to put it. It might just fit on a shelf.
