The ultra micro icon a5 is a great park flyer/amphibious aircraft. I have flown in a large gym but the basketball goals were down and narrowly dodged the first 3 goals but hit the 4th one after 1 lap. Nothing broke from a half throttle crash into a 9 foot high basketball net. it took a wing and nose first crash in to the ground very well and the only thing lost was a magnet for the canopy but that is easily replaceable. It handles very nice in the air and on water, but in the water it tends to dip its left wing when going slow but recovers when the speed picks up.

Pros: easy to fly
takes a hit
AS3X
easy to repair

Cons: doesn't climb good
pricy for plane and extra battery
cant take much wind

In conclusion the ultra micro icon a5 is a great airplane even though its pricy I think it is well worth it from its exceptional handling to its amphibious capability.

I have a firebird delta ray and it is a great plane!! before I got it I owned a radian and radian pro. I think the delta ray has made me more confident as a pilot.

Pros: easy to fly
safe mode
different levels of intensity
can fly in decent wind
easy to repair

Cons: seems underpowered
breakable/nose broke off on 12th flight

comment what your thoughts are on the firebird deltaray!!

I have both, I love them both, but I think I would fly the radian more over the radian pro. what would fly more?

the radian and radian pro are both great sailplanes. if I had to chose which to fly on a good day it would be the radian. when I first got the pro on its maiden flight I quickly figured out that you have to have almost full aileron throws for a good flight. I also figured out that you also have to have some down elevator compensation when you deploy the flaps. The only one I have put through high G maneuvers is the radian and it handled great, but the wings did bow quite a lot and the wings came out a little. I have not done anything extreme with the pro yet though. who else has this plane and what do you think about it?
