So, after purchasing a CX-10c as a christmas present for my father-in-law and then being shown a video of some FPV flying from an advert my friend shot, I thought "hey, that looks like fun!" There I was, a complete noob, looking for a way to get into this drone flying malarkey without any idea where I wanted to go. "Well, I don't want to be doing all those camera fly-bys, looks a bit sedate. How about that one where I pretend to be in the cockpit like the film Innerspace? Wossit called? FPS? Yes, defo called first person shooting quad flying."
So after failing miserably with a Google FPS quad flying search I looked up drones for beginners. Beginner list after beginner list, the same model always popped up; the CX-10. This wasn't going as I had planned. The search continued into the early hours of the morning and then I happened across the Hubsan X4 H107D+. "This looks like the ticket. Wow, it has altitude control. Nah, I'm too expert for that, I've owned one of those RC micro helicopters, I'll be killing it!" With that incredible reasoning I found a good deal for the less equipped H107D at a pricely £78.99 from a chinese site; "Banggood? *Beavis and Butthead laugh* Bang. Good". Infinite LOLs continued in my head.
