CMP Pro made a nice arf of the Lancair. This one is powered by an OS 52 4 stroke. Its a pretty clean airframe and flys/lands fast with the 52.

The Blue Tail Fly was a unique combination of two different F9F-5's. Both aircraft belonged to VF-153 aboard U.S.S. Princeton.
The story of the Blue Tail Fly goes that a Lt. Richard (Stretch) Clinite was flying an experimental finish F9F-5 when he was hit by Communist flak and the tail section of the aircraft was badly riddled but he managed to get the Panther back aboard. In the meantime, Ens. William Wilds, Jr. brought back a heavily damaged standard Glossy Sea Blue finish F9F-5 with its rear section intact. After mating the two airframes, the Blue Tail Fly was born. It flew 12 missions in that configuration before being returned to the States for rebuilding

I built this plane over 25 years ago. It is powered by 2 OS 91 FSR 2 stroke engines. Robart retracts, TwinSync engine synchronizers, Futaba 401 gyro on the nose wheel/rudder. The Cessna 310 weighs 30lbs and spans 10 feet.

Power by an Air Hobbies 3.0 cu.in. twin cylinder gas engine. Spring Air retracts. Weighs 26lbs

Powered by a D&B 3.7 cu.in. twin cylinder gas engine. Also has a smoke system and weighs 21lbs.
