I made another NFDHOBBY ICON-A5 footage.

One of my best friends,CIVIL, ordered me. His ICON-A5 is made up almost standard without adding turn water plates on the float edges both side. And he colored light blue.

Please enjoy bellow footage.

Thanks.

Im pretty grad to make up and show this video, the Maiden Flight of ICON-A5 with full gimmicks;
three blades prop, flaps, fog-lamps and remote controlled head-lights.

The first flight was calm condition, and the second was windy condition.

Please check the video and you will see how I love this foamy seaplane.

Hi all!
My friends and I are hooked on seaplanes. Recently we found a model ICON-A5.
The actual plane is absolutely nice looking.
We got a RC model floatplane that has been released by NFDHOBBY in China.
Its wing span is 1090mm and its weight is from 470 to 610 gram which depends on owners taste.
Weve been racing to finish this RC model.
Id like to introduce my ICON-A5 by YouTube. I made this video becoming consciously aware of a promotion one. Please check it!

Last weekend, Nov. 21 2010, we founded '60's Macchi Club'.

Basically we used FSK Macchi M.67 and near scale sizes, Macchi 5 Macchi M33 etc.
In this event, we enjoyed RC float-planes, sailboat and power boats.

This report is spotted duplicating The Schneider Cup Race only.

I'll give out a footage about this imitating race in near future....Continue Reading

Hi everyone

I don't know why my blog title was disappear from "Recently Updated", when I posted the first on Sep. 30, 2010, three days ago, between blitzhobbysports @ Sep 30, 2010 and JJ..BeQuiet @ Sep 29,2010.

Any way,on Sep. 30, 2010, I introduced you Tiny plane's Air Race.

This time I'd like to show records how much time was taken in every rap.
The F-1 class is from 10 to 13 second.
The Unlimited classes minimum time is 5.01 sec and its average time is about 6 second.

Hi guys!
I want to introduce our activity, Tiny Air Race.

We used foamy planes which sizes are as bellow.
Wing span is from 480 to 510mm, fuselage is from 440 to 460mm, total weight is from 120 to 180 gram.

We established two regulations.

One is F-1, Fomura-1 Class. The foamy planes were used those had been produced and released by Union-Model Japan. Zero-Fighter, P-51D Mustang, Me-109 Messerschmitt, Wing-Cutter, Ryan and Cessna 172 sky hawk were lined up. This category is strictly limited, use 50CX size five poles brush motor (50CX is three poles type) including Union micro plane series kits, and inhibit any remodeling including change any shapes. Only permitted thing is coloring to dress up imitating RENO Air Race planes.

The other is Unlimited Class. This category has no-limit without takeoff gross weight that is under 200 gram, 7.1 oz. In this category we use out-runner brushless motor which power is about 80W supplied 3 cells Lipo and its capacity is from 500 to 800mAh.

Regulations were established NMFC club members and near Clubs in 2003.

We have two categories.
One is copied from Reno Air Race. Several planes fly at the same time, and finish after five raps.
The other is time race. Only one plane finishes five raps. We measure every rap time and pick up minimum time of continuous five raps....Continue Reading

Hi everyone!
My family and I went to Biei and Furano districts in Hokkaido. Most Japanese employee has only from three to five holidays in summer vacation.
Fortunately, I could have four days trip to Hokkaido 1000km distance from my home town.
FPV was the most exciting event among the family trip for me.
In the second early morning, my son and I got out from the hotel. I'd sent R/C model by home-delivery service before we got to the hotel. The Solaris which wing span is 3200mm is F5Model’s kit in Ukraine imported by Star Flight Japan Inc.
The three piece wing and removable tail wings are very useful for packaging, as the luggage size is limited. This was the first attempt taking high-vision videos by on-board two cameras. Each camera took forward and rearward. The trade name is Bloggie.
Although the sky was not clear enough, I’d satisfied myself taking sceneries “Biei district”
Please enjoy Biei sceneries as famous summer retreat for Japanese but tourist spot for European, Australian, American, Chinese and Korean.

This model was finished about 5 years ago.
This FSK Zero-Fighter is my first attempt to build up 400 class form scale airplane.
At the maiden flight an editor publishing RC magazine in Japan came over.

Before I bought this, a rumor about FSKs FW-190 had been great of its style and easy flight.
Actually FSK Zero-Fighter seemed to have very high potential in the first glance when I opened the kit box.
Parts gave me power-full imagination and energy to create some extra gimmicks: differential moving main landing gears, retractable rear gear and release a jettisonable tank.
Those gimmicks are rare even in the big nitro planes, over .60 cubic inch engines.
Also I made up the cockpit as precise as possible.
Evolution of Blushless motor and Lipo battery for R/C model after 2002 made us easy to fly the same performance as super scale big models.

This plane was introduced in RC magazine in april 2005 in Japan.
Im pretty proud of my FSK Zero-Fighter.
Please enjoy the video. You might have mistaken this as if a big plane.

While the sequences, you can find HIKARI super express on the New Tokaido Line passing by a bridge over the YAHAGI river.
Please enjoy it.

I've finally finished this movie composed by 4 on-boad cameras, 4 keychain cameras and taken by my friend from R/C club's field.
To complete this plan, I've prepared for about 3 years.
I hope you shall feel as if you were over Yahagi river and rice planting fields in Japan.
I'm editing more two sequels, stunts and landing.
Thank you.

Im very glad to release this movie for all R/C Macchi fun.
Ive finally conciliated her. I got it.
This movie was recorded on 30th April 2010 at named M pond.
The moment take offs and landings on water are charmed me greatly.
It took almost a year to master the control her well.
Now we enjoy fly her.

Yesterday, 60's sailng club gathered at a lake, and had yacht racing meeting.
At a break time, I released my flying boat as a F1 powerboat.
It has an only 100w powered brushless motor, its speed was about 40 mile per hour, great! And it showed the funtastic action accidentally.
Please enjoy it. Thanks.

I got FSK macchi M.67 last spring in March 2009.

It is tough model. When I glanced at construction guide, I imagined some sections were needed to modify.
Because this kits construction was apart from my satisfying image.
I wanted to have enough motor power with fuselages firmness as a racer, smooth hydroplaning, taking off and landing, and easy maintenance.

I started to ponder which way is better to fly as other floatplanes.

Firstly, I considered the shape of this float wouldnt be easy to run straightly on the water because of the deep V shape.
And the floats with the dull edge of the steps make difficult to let go from water.

Secondarily, the fore side area from the center of gravity, which is summed up the fuselage and the floats, is bigger compared to other planes. This should cause the difference of the center of gravity from normal planes, supposed to be forward.

And the last, I found contents such as battery, receiver and servos will be mounted as forward as possible.
This forced me to make the wing removable to maintenance easy, fortunately this lead to be possible to mount another item, float rudders.

This time, I show some pictures about constitutions the main plane and inside the fuselage.
