A short video of me flying around a local school field in my Aerosky Sbach 342 in Fallon, NV since I'm here temporarily with my Navy squadron on detachment for pilot SFARP training.

Hi all! It's been months since I've last created a blog so I've decided to make a new one. I've recently purchased a new RC Lander F-16D kit from parkrcmodels.com. Their customer service is superb at best. Ordered earlier this month of July and received my package in about 10 days. Can't thank the guys enough.

Anyways, here are a few pictures of this new kit as well as some pictures of the build in progress. Planning for a maiden flight tomorrow. Hope you all enjoy!

Specifications for this aircraft:

-68mm RCLander MBS/DPS v2 10-blade alloy 2200kv 6S EDF unit @ 1900W
-Turnigy K-Force 100A ESC with 3A/5V BEC
-Turnigy nano-tech 3300 mah 30C 6S LiPo battery

Hey all. I finally finished my new T-6A that I've recently purchased from parkrcmodels.com weeks ago. After reading great things about the model I've decided to pull the trigger and purchased the aircraft.

I finally decided to fly my custom painted Exceed RC Concept X at "Chic's Beach" here in Virginia Beach on a rather chilly but calm day. It flies very fast, it's also whisper quiet with its 10 blade alloy EDF unit, and it's also very twitchy in flight even at 35% expo settings. Nevertheless, it was a lot of fun flying this jet. I did a couple of low high speed passes to get a good sense of speed. Enjoy!

So here I am on another 12 hour "watch" again with my squadron with nothing much to do but look after our jets or specifically F/A-18C Hornets in the hangar and the flightline. I decided to bring along with me my Exceed RC F/A-18F Super Hornet for a paint touch up and some servos that need to be fixed.

I decided to bring my jet out to the hangar and post pictures alongside the full size legacy Hornets. Kinda like 'mini me' type of thing when placed beside the full size counterparts.

No worries. I don't plan on flying this jet in WITHIN this airbase where I'm at, namely NAS Oceana. AMA and FAA regulations does prohibit the use of any radio control flying aircraft in within 3 miles of any operating airfield without proper permission from proper authorities.

Hello all. I just thought I'd share what I have been up to in the RC flying world.

I have recently installed a set of custom lights kit on my Exceed RC F/A-18F Super Hornet. Added the usual navigation lights and the scale triple blink strobe anti-collision lights as seen on the real 'Rhinos'. It's about as close to scale as I can get it. The real Super Hornet's triple blink strobes would have a 3 second delay in between the flashes.

Also, I have recently purchased a new ExceedRC Concept X kit all customized to my specs.

It's equipped with a 4S 14.8V 3000mah Turnigy battery, 80A FlyFun Opto ESC, ExceedRC 3V/5A BEC, 4 Detrum 9g servos plus a stock servo off my old plane for the rudder, and ultimately my new 64mm RCLander DPS/MBS 10-blade 3300KV EDF unit pulling about 67A at 1420 watts.

These pictures were taken while I was on "watch" at work in my Navy squadron VFA-87. Decided to bring my jet along with me to finish up on the paint sealant I was working on before leaving the house. Can't wait to bring it up in the air when weather permits.

I just received my new RCLander Rafale kit the other day from parkrcmodels.com. Many thanks to Max Ettinger and RCLander Technologies for the smooth transaction and expeditious arrival of my new kit. The wait was about two weeks, which is a reasonable amount of time to get my kit ready straight from the factory. Upon arrival of the package, I looked inside the box and everything was packed neatly with no damage to parts. Very satisfied. Here are a few pictures of the kit as well as the build....Continue Reading
