v911 wing ( Mini Micro ) (0 min 29 sec)

Everything is hot glued ...

V911 Micro Wing ( Thats its name now ) is bound to my Flysky 9X .. ( Simply allows me to configure the servos as needed )
In this regard the i10 is not that flash ..

Still needs the controls cut out and set up , and vertical fins ..
But I need a rest ( or actually my back does )

So hopefully be done in a day or two ( I hope ) , got a fair bit done today ..

So I havent gone for a huge sweep , motor and V911 board are ready to be hot glued in place ..

Then I will see about adding some carbon rods to stiffen / strengthen the center section ..

Cut the control surfaces , and connect them up ..
Then make some vertical fins , add a battery and CG test ..

I'm pleased to announce the launch of The Khrash Pad. Originally simply a device to get some FPV footage up for my nephew (and my Dad), I've decided to commit to putting up some regular advice I am distilling from this incredible hobby. I feel that I owe a debt of gratitude to all the great videos and posts the community has posted, and I'll help out where I can with:

Future topics:
- Some synopsis/ summary of advice for parents when their kids "want a drone" -- my friends with 3+ kids are so time pressed that frankly, they don't get a lot of time to research. The worst drones on the market are created to take advantage of this.
- The occasional review or "1 month follow up". A lot of channels only cover a quad once, and don't report on its progress months down the road.
- I am slowly training my Shiba Inu (now 1 year old) around quads. He knows not to touch them, but also is naturally developing a habit of "finding" crashed quads (in the house) a bit like a pointer. This has led to some interesting behaviors like play-bows and toys brought to drones. From a safety perspective I'm rewarding the fact that the crashed quads are not retrieved or licked.
- Quick tips on things that took me a long time to search and find

Without further ado, the channel, in its infancy:

Review of new Realacc Martian_S 220mm Lightweight 4mm Frame

I will be reviewing, build logging, flying, testing, crashing this new type of frame from Realacc. Its some kind of foam sandwiched between two sheaths of carbon plates. They did that to make the frame lighter (and maybe cheaper, I don't know exactly, but if hardness is similar, I don't mind the foam).

BG advertise it as "Same hardness as Martian&Alien frame kit,but 20% lighter than them!"

Newer had anything similar so it will be interesting to see how it holds up to classical full carbon frames. I have, for quite some time now, X210 frame from Realacc and I am very satisfied with it. You have lots of videos with it on my YT channel so please check if you are interested.

Specification (BG & mine):

Wheelbase: 220mm - (will check that after build)
Material: Carbon fiber ????????????

All parts are sandwich type

So you or someone you know is interested in getting into R/C cars but have no idea where to start. Real R/C cars are a step up from the Walmart brand remote control cars and have the features to prove it. These R/C units have more power, customizability, and longevity (to name a few) than their cheaper counterparts. With all those upgrades you may be asking yourself “What is the best R/C car for me or my kid”? Well, there are a few factors and different types of R/C cars that accommodate all types of r/c users from beginner to intermediate users.

What kind of R/C Unit Is Best For You?
The first thing to think about when considering what type of R/C car you want is to think about how you want to use it. Are you looking for speed? Off road handling? A mixture of both? Let’s rank the cars from speed to terrain.

On Road Only-

These cars and trucks are made for one thing: Speed. They need to be on pavement or asphalt to be used, and will not work well on off road surfaces.

R/C Cars

Street Cars– These types of R/C cars are made for one thing: Speed. These cars look like the real thing but in a smaller package. Can only be used on pavement.

Street Cars

Drift Cars – Made with slick tires and can slide around curves. These cars are fast and fun but can take a while to get used to.

Drift Cars

Rally cars – Closest you can get to an R/C car that can handle street conditions and dirt tracks. Best for light off roading.

Blend Of Offroad...Continue Reading
