In the last two weeks I have put together two new scale model airplanes.

The NE-1 Cub of the US Navy in World War II. Model by Hobby King.

The De Havilland Venom Mk. VI fighter jet of the Royal AIr Force. Model by Durafly.

I had posted a blog but I guess I wasn’t clear enough.
So this is an updated one.

I have a TOZO Q1012 drone(brushed motors)
I want to use the stock FC and somehow convert it into a brushless quad.

Things I know I will need:
4 Brushless motors and esc
A Lipo battery and connectors

Things I don’t know:
How to Convert the signal?(will the resistor and diode method help?if not then why?)

Will I have to get a new transmission and receiver or will the stock one work? Or should I just build a new quad ?

Is there anything there, that’s helps me convert the signal?

Or just think of the cheapest way to lift a GoPro hero 5 using this TOZO Q1012 drone.

As NFE's fork is aiming more towards brushed and being based more on preset configs, thought I would keep the FW as it is now with only a few changes.

As suggested by Ian444, I'm going to add the old filters back into the code and add defines to PID file.

I'll try to add SilverAg's dual PIDs, maybe add Joelucids yaw fix and look at a few other code bits from Betaflight. I don't know how successful I'll be but the weather is crap here, so no flying and I've had myself from making anymore quads, so this will keep me entertained.

Let me know if you have any suggestions for layout it things that make a bit more sense with work flow.

Does the latest FrSky R-XSR firmware break SBUS? I found this to be true as I was troubleshooting why my brand new R-XSR that was flashed to the latest firmware (3/8/2018) was not working. I replaced it with another brand new R-XSR that was not flashed to the latest firmware and SBUS worked flawlessly. I later found that a friend of mine had the same issue. He put together this alert for anyone who is having issues with their R-XSR and SBUS. Comment if you have had the same issue.

Hello, this is my 2nd test.

Long test... to make it close to the real flight situation..

Bernoulli 3515 500kv - 2nd Test 6S with 1248 & 1447 (16 min 51 sec)

- 800m above sea level
- Two different propellers, CF-1248 and CF-1447.
- Fully charged batteries, 2x3S 1100mAh 25C in series, Quadcopter ≈ 6S 4400mAh 25C ≈ 6S 8800mAh 12C
- Reversed test, max PWM first just want to know about the max thrust with fully charged battery.
- Throttle position between 40-75% to simulate in flight situation.
