Last weekend, I was breaking in the engine in the air and as usual had to dead stick it a few times. We finally got the engine running real nice and the plane flew nice. I then lost a wheel (Escapade 40) and had to crash land it. The plane veered into the grass/dirt and the brand new engine was covered in sand. I took the cylinder head off (First time ever doing this) and found quite a bit of dirt along the walls of the cylinder sleeve and so i cleaned it all out. I then went to put the cylinder head back in but i screwed one screw really tight and forgot i had to do them all a little bit at a time and so my sleeve got stuck to one side of the head. I then pulled the head out and the sleeve came right out of the engine (I thought I broke the engine haha). I then cleaned the walls of the sleeve and put a little bit of 3 in one oil on it and then stuck it back into the engine and paid attention to the orientation of the sleeve (there is a marking point for that). I put it back together and put the cylinder head on correctly. So engine is all put back together and when i turn the prop it sounds like it did when i got it but my question is, when you partially or fully disassemble a glow engine, does it affect how the engine runs? Sorry i may be sounding like a noob here but a first timer disassembling a brand new engine can get scared real easy haha but will it affect how the engine runs or will it run just like it did before? Thanks, I really appreciate any replies.

I called HorizonHobby's Product Support and they said if you want to charge the EFlite UMX Beast battery (2S 180mah 20C) on a Standard Computerized Charger, I would need an adapter cable. The connector on the Beast's battery is really unusual so many people don't have plugs to charge it on their charger so here's the link to the adapter that can charge this battery on your computerized charger: http://www.horizonhobby.com/products...-efl-EFLA700UM it''s out of stock right now but they said it would be back on December 29th 2011. The Product Support Representative said to charge it at half an Amp or 1 Amp but he did not recommend 1 Amp for the Beast's Battery because it could reduce the life of the battery. But I have to say, the UMX Beast AS3X is REALLY COOL Check out Rcflyyer1 on YouTube for a review coming soon!

What happens if you have a rough landing with a sea plane(Electrifly SeaWind rx-r) and the sea plane flips on it's nose in an alligator infested lake? I cannot swim since there are alligators so what would I do? I'm planning on buying one so I can fly it on my lake in the backyard. What techniques so you guys use?!?!

I got a Cermark F-20. I am flying it with a Futaba Sky Sport 72 Mhz. Yes the radio is ancient it's over 10 yrs old. But I put the retracts in it and I can't figure out how to slow the servos down. The are like bullets going in and out. The only computerized radio I have is the Spektrum DX6i. The servos are made by Futaba.

Hi, I have a front yard that I can fly Parkzone Ultra Micros in. Do you think these Ultra Micro Jets will fly in the same space or would they be too fast? Here are the links!

Hey does anyone know how to put retracts on the PZ Corsair. We found some reatracts on nitroplanes. Here is the link: http://www.nitroplanes.com/93a304-12...actsystem.html Tell me if these will work.

Hi I was wondering if I should get a Meteor or Habu. They look identical but one is from nitroplanes and one is from horizon. I will get the PNP/RX-R one from nitroplanes and a BNF one from Horizon. Thanks for your comments.

Parkzone Released a new Spitfire Parkzone Made this war bird all it could be and put a new motor that is currently used in the Parkzone P-47! This plane will be priced at $249.99 for the BNF and $184.99 for the PNP. This plane is built out of Z-Foam. It's ESC is an E-fliteŽ 30A Pro Switch-Mode BEC brushless ESC and it's motor is a 15- sized BL outrunner 950 kv. It also is retract ready and it accepts the E-Flite 10-15 Sized Main Electric Retracts (EFLG100). I can tell it is going to be a big hit and the review will be here soon!
