Well, first flight got heavy vibration & hatch cover blew off, I thought it was plastic spinner so changed to aluminium.
Same problem again ! Itís the plastic motor mount that vibrates,
Looks like Iím going to have to build a new wooden motor mount.

Launching The Losi DBXLE Off Monster Truck Jumps At Digger's Dungeon (3 min 30 sec)

I took my Losi DBXLE with me to Digger's Dungeon for the No Limit R/C World Finals, but not to race it...to bash it in my "free" time. I didn't turn out to have as much free time as I would've liked, but I had enough to enjoy a few good bashes. This footage came from two of those times. At Digger's Dungeon they have a ride-on monster truck called Riptide that has a little course with some big hills they take people over. It's $5/person and an enjoyable ride (which I hear they are expanding). When it was done at night, my buddy Dave heard me talking about wanting to "open up" my DBXLE and let it fly. I told him about my inability to really run it in a big space. He took me over the the Riptide course and he brought his 5th scale gas truck. I aired it out a few good times before the batteries ran out (forgot to charge them). Hope you enjoy it and some of the other small bashing I did with it. Have fun RCing y'all!

Eachine E32HW Review | What do you think it looks like? (16 min 47 sec)

It comes with the usual features that we commonly see with budget wifi fpv drones. Altitude hold, 2MP camera and this one takes a micro SD card for smoother video footage. It looks just like the Bugs 5W to me.

I always liked the L-39, a very nice flier if built light and goes pretty fast with little power.

A number of well known model makers (Savex, Schreiner, C&C etc) had/have some beautiful molded edf L-36s, and HTG had a nice one too (from which JePe took over the molds).

Here's some details on the original :

at a wingspan of 9.46m and length of 12.13m ...

Halloa guys

yes sir.. I've got me a couple of new quads in, and the concept of them is more interesting in itself then just these quads.. These are 4-inch quads, and that is obviously nothing new.. These aren't the powerhouses we've come to expect though, and I think it's good to at least Try this approach

My daughter and I won the raffle at our local club meeting, and the prize was a 1976 Mark's Models Wanderer balsa glider kit. I've built a number of multirotors of all sizes and one FliteTest foamboard plane, but never anything of balsa, so this is a bit of a learning experience.

So far I've got the pre-cut ribs separated from their sheets and organized, and all the ribs for the inner part of the left wing glued between the leading and trailing edges.

Some of the ribs needed their spar notches deepened slightly to lay flush with the bottom of the wing. The inner 3 ribs threw me off until I realized that there is 1/16" balsa sheeting applied top and bottom, so these ribs are 1/16" shy of flush both top and bottom.

At this point I'm beginning to build the outer wing panel, which will be angled up (polyhedral) from the inner wing panel. I'm a bit nervous about getting all the angles right and how to get all the butt joints to meet tightly.

Bought it when it was $50 off for $229 (Father’s Day 2018).

Assembly was easy like most Horizon products. While portly (i.e., heavy) at 45 ounces the speed is less than the 1100 mm Elev Hobby T28.

With the included AS3X the $229 price is better than the 11H T28 ($150) when you factor in the $20 8 channel RX, $20 Castle Creations 10 amp UBEC and a $65 Guardian Stabilizer. As received the AS3X comes pre-programmed with a well developed set of parameters. Change at your own peril is my advice. An APP and programming dongle is available as an option. I bought one for my Eflite Viking bipe and enjoyed seeing how it was programmed. I changed nothing on the Viking bipe and on the three flights of this plane I saw no need to change any program settings. As programmed from the factory there is no need to add any expo. It is already in the AS3X. Doing so will make the plane feel unresponsive.

First three flights off pavement went well. The fourth was off grass and the prop hooked the grass, the plane tumbled and it was damaged. Damage was straightforward and not catastrophic. Prop was broken, left main retract pulled out of the wing and the nose gear retract gear/ screw was bent. I rebuilt the nose gear, glued the left main back in place and replaced the prop. See photos for what was done.

Landings can be an adventure with the wire struts and fairly hard foam tires. Since the Wheels/tires are pretty hard they will be replaced with low bounce wheels. Nose gear was first with an installation of a 2.25 inch dia Dubro low bounce wheel. This required some Dremel relief work to accommodate the larger size tire. The mains will use Dave Brown Lite Flite lightweight low bounce wheels. MotionRC has an assortment.

DHK Zombie Leaves The Grave For A 4S Backyard Bash (2 min 13 sec)

We can't keep the DHK Zombie in the grave. It just wants to get out and bash - and you want to see it in 4s. I cut together some footage from a recent bash...complete with some hardcore slow motion crashes. As I state in the video...this is one of my favorite bashers. My brother liked it so much after he and his kids drove it that he ordered one for himself. Be sure to watch all the other DHK videos I have. This and the DHK Maximus are amazing bashers. Have fun RCing!
