I haven't had much time to work on a project of my own of late but of necessity, I am carving a few hours out for the new ElectriFly Evader EDF. This little jet, and it is definitely on the small side, should fit in the trunk with the wing on. It is marketed as going triple digits right out of the box, using the recommended ElectriFly components. I cannot wait to get this one in the air. We'll test our best camera guy, Terry, yet!!

Initial thoughts as I build it .... the glass is really nice. The colors are vibrant and glossy. I have the fan assembled and installed and have run it up to about half throttle so far and it sounds good. I'll post up some photos and video when we get her done and flying!...Continue Reading

Today was a great day to fly. We were able to get four flights on the new Hobby Lobby eRC 90mm Euorfighter EDF. A pair of thunder Power 45C Pro Power 3S 3800 lipos in series make this 6S EDF sing.

With retracts, a LED light kit and thrust vectors, the Eurofighter really flies nicely. It has quite the presence in the air!!

Hangar 9 DeNight Special

Hangar 9 DeNight Special ARF (2 min 2 sec)

My friend and fellow reviewer Don maidened the Hangar 9 DeNight Special this afternoon. Powered by an E-flite Power 46 and a 4S Thunder Power lipo, it looked very crisp and nostalgic as it streaked across todays Northern California sky. Don is working on a full RCGroups/Ezone review of the DeNight.
