well its been Years since I last Posted any updates on RCG

now we have something of interest an Multiwii board reproduction with updated sensors along with the GUI codes
right now we are open on Philippine market and looking for international distributors .

intentionally design as a shield for an Arduino board we added a few interesting features .

its been a long while since EOS Bandi stop development on his WinGUI program I've notice the maps and other functions starting to break up , since we like its simplicity I thought of repairing it for its continuation for future DIY builders. so here it is.

Design to run off Atmel Arduino base flight controllers its a lighten version of mission planner aim fir DIY Drone builders.
Base off the MultiwiiWinGUI EOS Bandi this is a redesign and Patch up version with the broken map fixed and a little theme change.

design to work off with Multiwii V2.4 with the version number 231

(see: Multiwii.h #define VERSION 231)

Changes:
Repaired google satellite map

PX33 wing
material : XPO Foam
Motor :EmaxCF2212
Prop 7x6 or 8x3.8
Power: 2200mah 3s
AUW 650g-700g
WS 36"

the airframe is basically a foam sandwich of two hafts on a central frame structure. the foam is basicaly bend and strech over creating the airfoil shape. also its more durable than EPP foam .considering its AUW .

no carbon rod or any other support structure is needed since the foam can stand alone on its own with just glue.

Yes" as a challenge Last Weekend , can you make broken Props to fly again, and is it safe?
I accomplish the challange and flew the aircraft with a working Prop build from two splice other Broken Props it may not be as efficient as a new Prop but at 50% - 60% thrust loss its just enough to fly , no ACRO but Level cruising flight.

Note: as any RC hobbies knows there is a Trash bin in the flying field full of those stuff . they may not be fit for multirotor use but for fixwings they getaway with those

PX-37 Large Scale Ultralight 1/4
Wingspan- 2100mm
Lenght-1220mm
est weight 2KG-2.5KG
Motor 950KV X2 (not sure if this would deliver enough Thrust)

K this my First entry to the world of Giant RC
in IMAA rules min of 80" wing span so this could qualify as giant scale.

still in the Build process and not sure if it would fly....Continue Reading

Goldie Wilson III: [in TV Commercial] Hi friends, Goldie Wilson III for Wilson Hover Conversion Systems. You know, when my Grandpa was Mayor of Hill Valley, he had to worry about traffic problems. But now, you don't have to worry about traffic. I'll hover convert your old road car into a skyway flyer!

At Goldie Wilson Hover Conversion Systems we use certified Flying Circuits and top of the line Hoverwheels to transform even the most vertically challenged vehicles into Skyway Flyers.

this was done back in Aug

started out as

Heli canopy

its use as an canopy with a conveniently battery access point up the front and air vents. not sure yet for 3d flying but the design have flown as scale.

Fixwing Aircraft

this is the kicker and the highlight of the action . and did several chases with other aircrafts in the field. Adequate performer in the air.despite being slightly underpowered.

just like in real Air Crash investigation this model one of the early generations of Foamie planes unfortunately on April 26 ,14 it met its end when structural fatigue takes its toll in a spectacular mid air disintegration. reconstruction of this airframe shows its construction being EPS/PS type material typical used for models of that Era , the owner told me he had it for 6-7 years. and its a well care model.
discoloration of the wings shows its age. and this plane is build before carbonfiber is widely use in RC application so in the cross-section of the damage wing shows layered PS material with a outer coating as an shell.

so now we know how long EPS models should last. before its deem unfit to fly.
I doubt if its still capable of flight even on a lighter power setup, judging by how brittle the wing structure are.

would like to Celebrate this Holy Week/Easter With an RC Reference.
to some verses with some of Our RC model posing in the shots.

Psalm 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He make me to lie down in green pastures: he lead me beside the still waters. He restore my soul: he lead me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.Thou prepare a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
