I bought another quad. ZMR 150, planning on 600mw FPV system, 1306 motors with 12 amp escs. HS1177 camera, running on a 4s 850 battery.

I also bought a Hacker Hotwing 1000 which I am going to run a 2212-6 with 6x4 prop. Going to turn it into an FPV racing wing. Should be fun as well. Will update as I get them

Another video of my flying. Kind of long, go about 3 minutes in for hard flying.

After a long, strong desire for a mini quad and to get into FPV I finally did it! I got the ZMR 250, going with a 2204 setup on 4 cells, 20 amp ESCS (BL heli), PDB, 200MW FPV system. A friend of mine sold me some Quanum FPV goggles for $15, so why not buy them! All thats left for me to buy is the Naze 32 and camera.

Yesterday I was out flying my EF yak. I did a hard crankshaft and I noticed it didn't want to do a rolling loop after. I stopped rolling and it immediately rolled left hard. Weird....

The right wing aileron was fully deflected down!! Somehow I managed to do a smooth downwind landing but what happened? Maybe the servo arm screws came loose and it rattled off the spline? NOPE! I had stripped the servo! I knew the servo had a karbonite first gear and I suspected that as the failure point. Took the wing off, took the servo apart and yep... it was the karbonite gear!

Frustrated, I took the plane apart and headed home (was time to leave anyways). I called Hitec this morning (8pst is 12est if you ever have to call) and I was told I would have to buy the gear myself! Wow I didn't expect that. I have heard Hitec's support is great. I guess not!!

I was inspecting the other servos today and noticed the right elevator servo had a notchy feel to it. Yep that one is on the verge of stripping as well!

Between the crappy servos and support that will be the last Hitec servo I buy! My Savox 2270sg has been fine. I bought the Hitecs new when I got my second Ef Yak, at Nall. I didn't spend $400 on them for them to go bad in 2 months! Come on!

Well I might have to try MKS 777's or go Savox 2270SG all around. The Hitecs jittered as well.

And before someone says, "Only way that will break is wrong servo setup!" Nope, I set them up with my Hangar 9 amp meter and a pitch gauge .1 amp or less throughout the whole movement. No binds there!

Very disappointed. At a stand still, if I should keep them or not. I just spend $200 on a ZMR 250 Saturday night so I am broke.

Here is a video of me flying my Extreme Flight 88in Yak. Ran out of memory 7 minutes into the flight, flew 11. I will bring out my HD camcorder next week so we can get some better zoomed video. I will post then as well.

Let me know what you think!
