Bought this solely because of a pic a friend sent me of the cockpit. I just about dropped my teeth when I saw the exquisite detail on the dashboard alone. Nobody uses real screws on the instrument dials. This maker did. So I bought it for $250.00 on sale at HK. It has the most useless build manual I’ve ever seen. Luckily there was a guy on YT that made a video out of still pics he took as he built.
Soo, it took me 6 weeks to build this. Now that Ive figured it out, I could do it in a week. Sad things is, that as of this writing, its no longer in stock, nor are there any parts.
It is without question, the most solid plane I’ve ever seen. More plywood than balsa, so it’s heavy.
I scoffed at the makers suggestion for their recommended power plant, and opted instead for a more robust system. This thing turns heads wherever it goes.

I do not recommend this for anyone but a VERY experienced builder and pilot. One slip and yer toast. Her landing gear is the weakest point. The metal should’ve been bigger & stronger for such a heavy plane. Anything but a butterfly landing is gonna bend the gear. I’ve upgraded the springs but still don’t think it’s enough.
All in all, I would recommend to an experienced friend, and I would buy it again.
Rather long but cool vid of my 3rd outing. With no headwind, she comes in HOT!
