Well, my Pods and ~10 other Safety Third Racing team members Pods are still in customs, so i will share chrosa's recent frame pics. Turn any multirotor frame into a crash proof FPV racer or wanderer.
utilizes the 30.5mm x 30.5mm square m3 mounting, (found on most if not all flight controllers and PDBs these days). Integrate this into your stack, and put the goggles on!

Ill be sure to post many more as they start coming in.

looking great chrosa

Non countersunk 4mm and 5mm available too

With the recent federal law coming down on registration of "drones", I figured this would be a great time to launch this project I have been thinking of for a few months.

In the next few days, I will add custom cutout carbon fiber number and name tags to my webstore on Armattan Productions. Throw your AMA # / registration # / name / phone # on the tag and show up at the field worry free. Tags will range from ~ 1"x1/2" to ? depending on how much you want on there.

The tags will have slots on both ends to fit most if not all multirotors arms and frames as well as any other aircraft between two m3 screws you may already have (think quadcopter arm, or top plate, or bottom of frame, or fuselage, or heli frame, lots of options for mounting).

In most cases; design, upload, quote, CNC, package, ship, delivery takes about 3 weeks depending on CNC queue.

3d renderings to come, stay tuned!

The rev2 plates came in, really loving the slight changes from the prototype frame. Now sits narrower, allows 6in props. Dedicated battery loading tray that double as a top plate if no battery cage is preferred, the clean (bobbined) camera section is not shorter as well and has a more beefy top clean plate. All of the electronics are stacked inside the electronics compartment and co.pletely out of harms way in this build, really liking how protected everything is.

This frame is available through Armattan Productions here:

Hey guys,

Hot off the CNC this morning, two prototype Hive 150mm FPV frames. (Polycarbonate prototypes)

Very excited with these, they came out perfect. I can't wait for the carbon fiber parts to show up.

1306 and 1104 motor mounting slots for insane power setups on 3s and 4s. 3in props, (cant wait to try out the rotorx tri's). Tilted hs1177 CCD camera, completely caged in.

This is going to make warehouse racing this winter a lot of fun. and not too expensive!...Continue Reading

Hey guys,

I recently made a hand cut plate for the top of my 155mm fpv hex (I wanted to reposition the fpv camera from the front to the top for better weight balance on such a tiny build). the results are awesome, and the Armattan rubber tilt clamps have held up tremendously (multiple horrible crashes with this tiny guy, indoor and outdoor, and probably hundreds of cart wheels, its faster than you think!)
It worked so well, that i modelled the optimized parts and will upload them to my Armattan Productions store (FloRotors)

The camera plate that gets attached can be modified to fit any number of cameras out there on the market, this particular one is for the ~$8-9 banggood micro camera
which is surprisingly quite good in both color and refresh rate. i just wish it didnt have such a wide angle lens. anyone know where to get this tiny ~8mm threaded lens in standard view? maybe the 808 #16 lenses?

anyways, here are the pictures. this can be applied to any 30.5mm square layout mounting holes (Flight controller mounting dimensions) so it can be used as a top plate for your FC and FPV unit.

There is a hole for your vtx antenna output / SMA pigtail to run to and attach your antenna securely, and small holes for a ziptie to come and attach your vtx to the bottom of the plate as well if preferred. all in all, the vtx, camera, and antenna can be mounted on...Continue Reading

Available on the FloRotors Armattan Productions website:

The Hornet FPV Hexacopter is a 230mm size racing hex frame designed for full fpv gear and flight cam. This lightweight yet incredibly durable frame is designed for 18xx motors and 13xx motors spinning 4 inch props.

The FPV camera is completely enclosed for protection and a secure mount, and allows for three different mount angles, 0, 20, 35 degrees.

All the sensitive electronics are mounted to a "clean" section on the frame, riding on 6 bobbins for vibration isolation. This includes the Flight Controller, the FPV cam, the flight cam, the receiver, and vtx. the esc's are mounted to the "dirty" section on the arms. No jello in the video, and vibration free flight controller performance

The frame fits a Mobius action cam on its top clean plate, a GoPro can also be strapped down on this plate. Tilt blocks for action cams to come.

The motor layout is spider-like, allowing incredible speeds flying forward, yet hovers on a dime with the help of a provided custom mix. This also allows for full 120 degree FOV from the FPV and flight cameras, without prop interference.

The frame is held together using aluminum hardware, M3 all around, Motor mounts are M2 for those motor sizes.
