I replaced the APM clone on my Flip Pro FPV quadcopter with the Eagle Tree Vector flight controller and managed to do the maiden flight last night as the sun was setting.

I'm very happy with the initial results, now I need to do some test and tuning flights.

I've been working my ass off to get my new frame setup and going, managed to do a maiden hover and test yesterday. I should be able to do some FPV today!!

I like the looks of this frame, it has lots of room for gear! I can't wait to get this thing going, I need to FPV I'm having withdrawals!

The Mini Talon arrived today in excellent condition!

I updated the firmware on my flight controller to MegaPirateNG 3.0.1-R3 Beta and did a quick test flight today with default PID settings. It was quite windy and quite bumpy with some yaw drift.
