Hi all,
I am having difficulty getting this build blog going. It seems like I have a lot of views, but absolutely no responses from any of you. It defeats the purpose of a blog for me as I am looking forward to interaction. There seems to be a problem at RC Groups as it appears as if nobody is able to respond. I need help from someone to contact RC Groups and let them know.

Check out my build progress below...

I suggest reading a small review about the SWR meter and spectrum analyzer with generator, interesting and not expensive "Arinst" devices, for working in FPV. Here, the forum engine did not allow placing open pictures inside the text, so I made a publication on another fpv-community forum.

JJRC H31 Quad MOD Part2 - Beecore BetaFlight Setup!

Here is a link to the Video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1eT4ensP44

I have wanted to perform this MOD for quite a while on my JJRC H31 Quad but higher priorities pushed it back.
I wanted to a have a Toy-Grade Quad to fly around the property when time doesn't allow for packing everything up and heading to my Flying Area.
Tiny Whoops are a blast indoors but not that great outdoors.
I chose this Quad because it can handle light wind outdoors and it's very durable.
Those of you that have watched my videos Piloting RC Aircraft know that durability is a must for me ;-)

In this video I will show you the changes I've made in the BetaFlight Configuration and a composite of two Test Flights I performed with this setup.
This should give you a good starting point in BetaFlight and then Tune to your flying style.

Part 3 will show an FPV Flight once the FPV Camera is installed.

Hi! I'm Qwenther.
I'm mildly new to rcgroups but not new to the hobby, and I'm so excited to share my RC experiences. To start with, I just did a major overhaul on most of my aircraft. Some have been in the shop for awhile and some have only needed repair for a week. Either way they needed some TLC. As soon as the weather calms down, I'm looking forward to putting some of these birds in the air.

Introduction

The Night Radian FT provides a great upgrade to my favorite aircraft in the hanger, the original Radian. The Night Radian's animated lights are very bright and flashy, and they never fail to provide quite a light show, often attracting quite a crowd of people curious to find out what that bright UFO they see in the sky is! My favorite comment about the Night Radian came one evening from an older teen watching the Radian light show: "Hey Mister, your airplane is DOPE!!" I certainly couldn't agree more!

Yet, the first evening my favorite flying partner, dawnron1 and I maidened our new Radian FT's, we both noticed something was missing! Even as very experienced night flying pilots, we were a bit uneasy flying the Night Radian FT, due to the fact that the Radian's lighting provides no fixed visual navigation light references, such as the FAA navigation light scheme on real aircraft, as well as lighting found on many RC night flying aircraft. We found it was very easy to lose track of the Radian's flight orientation!

So... We set out to add additional fixed navigation lights which provide traditional FAA navigation aircraft lighting, as well as adding two very bright forward landing lights and a rear facing solid red beacon. With this modest navigation light upgrade, we found our perception of the Night Radian FT's orientation during night flights is now very easy to follow! With the upgrade, we can easily chat with curious observers without danger...Continue Reading
