To today I got the parts from the hardware store (Home Depot). Not bad if I do say so myself on work done today. Besides taking time to go to the Arizona Electric Festival today, I am happy with the progress. Tomorrow Power should be running, AC and then I just have to make all the connections and design the layout. Here is what I did today.

Using parts I purchased from the Home Depot. My fans were 3" wide. Got a Hole Saw for 3" and started the process.

I marked the center of the fans with this grate I had from an old power supply. This will be a part I keep forever as I make these.

Then I centered the drill and made the hole.

I put the saw to work at this point and time.

Today the align case came in and I quickly realized that three chargers will not be possible. I will still build for a possible of three for plugs, depending on what I get later, but for now, it looks like only two will fit.

So I either keep the Hitec for home use and get another 720 Duo for the larger sizes I have, orů.. well I am still thinking about it.

For now I will keep the 12V Hitec AC/DC until I buy something else with the 720 Duo so I can charge 6 batteries at a time.

I started to look at how high the power supplies will fit, and if I will be able to put for of them in here.

I noticed if I keep them the way the came, I can fit 4, if I make then thinner but wider I can only use what I have.

I decided to finally build a power station for my chargers. I will be posting pics as I build the box. At the moment, I am still purchasing a few more items, but so far these are the items I have in my list and links to purchase them.

Some of you might say I went a bit much or overboard, but hey, thats why its a hobby!!! I like options, lets just leave it at that.

I purchased 24V power supply from feathermearchantrc. (image below from his website)
His blog and website are located at:
His website: http://www.feathermerchantrc.com/
His BLOG: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1164359

I found MANY IDEAS from his blogs from what others have done, so none of these were quite my own but a collection of what I wanted to build based of much of what I have seen and what I wanted.

I am planning on purchasing another 24V set to have more power :-).. (Insert Tim that tool man sound here) (manly grunts).

Second thing I wanted was a good case. Now this depends a lot on what you want to do.

For example just a case for the power supplies, or both the chargers and the power supply or ..... This can go on forever with many different configurations. I started with the same cases I use for my radios. I train people at my club so I always have two radios for my Hitec Aurora 9's that fit perfect in the box.

That case was this one:
