As a long time single screen FPV'er I would be interested in seeing if the IPD/dioptres on these are any wider/better than the Fatsharks. The 1280x960 is of course very welcome but 1280x1024 would be nicer, especially for connecting to as PC and using the HDMI connection to create a VR headset for PC Gaming or for simple video playback.

As previously mentioned, my father-in-law and I started a Piper Cub kit build a few years ago. My life is finally in a place where I have some time to work on it again.

In preparation for this build, I reviewed the build instructions again and wanted to view the plans. Only problem, finding a digital copy of the plans to review remotely, without carrying around the actual plans, is impossible.

Enter: awesome job, awesome boss, and a large scale copier/scanner.

I work for a manufacturing company in North salt lake Utah as a Design engineer. My days are spent creating and modifying drawings that are regularly up to size D (24"x36"), sometimes larger. How convenient, that the plans for this Cub are D sized! After speaking to my boss and giving him an intro to this hobby and what I plan to do, he enthusiastically said yes to my request to scan the plans, and make an extra copy.

The best part of this, is I can now print out, on regular paper, small sections of needed. And with a digital copy, I can help others. I've seen posts on this forum regarding plans for this kit and I hope to be able to help those people out.
Oh, to go with this. So long as I'm at this job, I will be able to scan the plans for any kits I do in the future

As for the progress of the build, we have completed the rudder, elevator, horizontal stabilizer, and vertical stabilizer.
Pics will come with another post.

Note: I have contacted Great Planes/Hobbico/Horizon Hobby regarding these plans. No one there seems to know where to find an extra set of plans. Very frustrating.

Be care full when selecting the propeller for you electric plane. I recently relied on a vendor’s suggestion (Master Airscrew) for one of my planes . They sold me a gas prop for an electric plane. The result was a disaster. Make sure it says made for electric planes.

In recent years, the use of drones for terminal distribution has always been a major trend in the development of the industry. Many countries and enterprises are focusing on the development and application of drones in this field. Just last month, Google Brothers Wing announced that its drone delivery business was officially launched in the United States, which not only marked the opening of the U.S. drone transport commercialization era, but also meant that after that, the US part Some residents of the area will enjoy the trendy service of drones for takeaway.

According to news released by Wing, it will mainly open drone distribution services for non-prescription drugs, snacks and health products to residents living in Fort Cristian, Virginia. At that time, the user only needs to use the mobile phone to place an order, and the delivery staff will wrap the goods and hang them on the hooks released by the drone. After the fixing is completed, no one will automatically fly to the destination and hover at the end. The order is completed in the form of airborne cargo. The whole process can be said in one go, very convenient.

This can't help but make us feel envious, but when we come back to God, we also have doubts: When using drones to take delivery, can we come true in our country?

Before answering these questions, we first come to understand the development process of the UAV distribution service in the United States. In the United States, there are many...Continue Reading

Cut a notch into the wing and paint aluminum. Poke a silver tack into the middle. Glue a round clear jewel on the tack. Soften a .030 plastic strip Use canopy glue to secure in place. Fill any gaps with lightweight spackling.

I hope to one day to have a working light. I ran a thread through the wing and secured the end with a screw. I can use that to pull a wire through the wing out to the notch but in the leading edge.

All -

Recently i acquired this 1940 ? Syncro Devices , Detroit Michigan, USA Syncro Ace Special spark ignition model airplane engine. Also, the 1938 Megow Models catalog yielded some interesting Syncro information.....

Seems the Syncro Saws may be more popular than the engines...... A second or third hand Syncro saw was my 1st saw - it did a nice job, but was extremely loud.

The Syncro B-30 and kit version PC-2 slag engines were art deco pretty, but did not add to the Syncro reputation in a good way.

Best regards,
