decided tav the V977 needs more speed, following Remlen's advise i've decided on the following;

there is a big tail motor which mates nicely with the v931 tail blade. good match to the longer 931 main rotor blades.

The stocker bounces all over the place, the rear springs are to stiff it seems and no oil fill....... swapped in some nice oil filled shocks from hobbyking.

Springing is allot lighter, these are smooth as silk now.

After allot of spec checking i decided to take a punt on the Hobbyking BMS 308 BB Servos

These have a slightly different housing compared to the popular 306, analogue and ball bearing supported.

These have a hard translusecent plastic housing like the stockers but a purplish colour rather than the bright purple 306 in polypropylene.

Servo travel direction is correct, minor trim on the bottom mounting tag, has a small triangle reinforcement and slight trim on the outer side of the tag to get it all lined up into the blade mount.

And the stock blade servo arm is a perfect fit

No Dithering on boot up, unlike the stockers which can get into a hell feedback loop, and all works smooth as.

Test flight in the garage stock on ail and blue bird on ele all seemed good as !

These servos use a carbon reinforced plastic in the gears with a very strong gear tooth design.

And replacement gears are $1.40
