So , I have continued slowly building a new weight reduced set of wings for my Hudson, the original set were far to heavy and I just sat the model aside for a long time . But I finally pulled my digit out and got stuck in ,I think I'll be able to loose quite a bit of useless weight with a rethink of battery and ballast location to achieve CG with a lot less lead . Anyway here's where I'm at

As everyone on the planet knows, its stay at home and stop the spread . And because I work on restoring a PBY Catalina which we have had to stop working on ,I was asked to restore the association model . I decided that it should be restored to a museum standard with a full metal jacket
for display with the full size when we complete it . I just wish it was as easy to work on the full size as it is the model . Photo's posted in no particular order of...Continue Reading

In 1987 I built this Avro Anson for the F4C world champs ,at the time I was really into the power competitions era. I thought at that time this was the top end of my building endeavours ,I since learnt it was simply the next step to build more scale models .

5.5kg AUW ready to fly , this was a rushed build but I'm pretty happy with the out come . Would have like to do more in the cockpit but time was short to have it ready to go for Manilla Slope fest 2019 so it is what it is
