Got some pics from John of my Terryplane Titan 120!
I received this plane from Steeg a couple months ago. It was delivered by Chip.greely. Thanks an awful lot for making this come together for me!!!
These were kitted here in Santa Maria at the airport by my Dad (Terry) and a couple other partners. Bob Angel I believe was one.
I remember working in the shop sanding ribs and such at about 13 Yrs old.
In 1977 I was learning to soar doing a few local contests, when we signed up for the A.M.A. Nats at March A.F.B. Well, long story short I was able to grab 1st place in the Junior unlimited sailplane class. See pic. I still have the trophy and some day I will build a copy of the plane.
I got to work on this one pretty quickly, getting plans copied and ribs made that I got from Jan so I could make new wing tips (he helped in making upgrades to the plans and designed a v-tail sloper). I beefed up the fuse to mount the Axi 2860/10 motor adding plywood sheeting on the sides. It came out a little nose heavy even with the servos mounted behind the cg. It has pelnty of power on a 2 cell 4200mah lipo, so I may try a smaller motor and battery combo later, but she flies fine now!
Thanks again to everyone for helping me get this plane together!

I finished rebuilding a couple things the last couple months .
First is an S.O.S (Son Of Savage) I had to rebuild the tail group, paint the fuse and put the electronics in. Haven't had a good day to fly it ( missed last Thurs.)
Second is a Kyosho Fairwind sailing yacht (yes it's RC not full size)
It was going to the dump, so I had to save it!
