Howdy people

a few months back I saw this TFL Racing (Ford) Bronco show up on sales-sites, and at first glance I fought: 'damn.. that's a lot of $$'.. After reconsidering though, it about the same as I payed for RC4WD cars in the past..
Is this TFL car comparable though??

Link to this car: TFL Racing (Ford) Bronco 1/10th size scaler

Obviously I'll be recording several video's on this car.. First up is a look at the parts.. Then I'll do a build-video, after that driving video's and Maybe an upgrades video as well

Hi there people

something only partly RC related this time: a backpack. in this age of (FPV) quad flying, lots of people take their gear to flight-line in a backpack, and so do I
So far I had been using a regular sports backpack for that, but I wanted a more rugged pack, to protect my gear better..

A link to the backpack I selected: Free Soldier Slingshot Backpack

In short: I'm very happy with the pack.. It is of very high quality. It holds more then I generally take with me for and FPV sessions..
A more detailed look at the backpack & what I carry in it:

Halloa people

Soo yes. another contender in the FPV goggle arena.. Didn't we have enough choises allready? Well I think that in the 'Fatshark style' of goggles, there sure is room for some more budget oriented options..

Link to these new goggles: HIEE HIVR101 diversity goggle

At first I was highly UNimpressed.. until I found the -2 diopters were in the goggle :P After removing those, I was actually Very impressed.. The goggle sports a far clearer image then the Fatshark Genesis goggle I have been using for the last 6 months.. NOT to say the Genesis has a bad screen or optics by the way.. Far from it, but with this HIEE goggle I suddenly see a whole lot more..

I've only done 2 flights with the goggle so far but felt the goggle is wurth an 'initial impressions' video

Hi there RC people

It can be a lot of fun to buy / order up a ready made RC, and go out & fly / drive it right away On the other hand great satisfaction can be found in selecting all components yourself and then build the craft
This allso gives you more insight into how things really work (and how they do Not work :P)

The objective in this project is to build a POWERFULL FPV quadcopter. My last build was an experiment into a very Light build.. Not this one.. This one will have beefy motors.. beefy ESC's.. all that

This series will be quite a nr. of video's and I'll try to put as much info into the individual video's as possible. This allso means the project won't be ready in just a few days as well offcourse

Let's first have a look at the frame for this build

DutchRC - GEPRC AX5 Airbus MONSTER Quad Build Poject! Part 1: Frame Overview (4 min 53 sec)

Parts selected for this build:
