I actually got up early for once. Was at the "hill" around 10:30am. The wind was out of the North. Everyone ended up on the West end of the North face. Because of the large grassy area on that end, we were able to winch and slope. Plenty of action. We had 4 or 5 guys winching, while there were about 10 of us on the slope. Thank god we had a decent breeze, instead of the predicted 5mph (it was more like 10mph). We finally ended up shifting to the NE bowl around noon as the wind shifted to the NE.
I'm still "working" on my pics, but in the meantime, Ben sent me 3 he had taken with his Canon. Thank you Uncle Ben!

Blog is a little late. I wasn't able to get to the "hill" last week. I had to work from 4AM till 5PM on Saturday. So no chance to fly or get pictures. Luckily, Dan went to the hill and took some pictures with his iPhone. So enjoy the attached pics and thank you Dan!

I missed last week because I was on call. So I made sure I got to the hill this weekend. As with my usual luck, last weekend had a nice breeze. This weekend was typical summer with almost zilch wind.
On the plus side I decided to reward myself (with my overtime) to a new TD plane. Or at least that was my rationale.
