Hi guys after the motor failed and my best mate Steve fixed it for me ,I refitted it in the goblin and did test flight OMG the heli was doing a belly dance the rotor disc was steady but the heli was doing a belly dance under it the ESC is a YGE and for some strange reason the ESC has lost its memory so had to do a reset up , well that fixed it
That was a strange going on

Hi guys well my scorpion motor is not well i do oil it as they say to do but it did save the bearing , so off it went to my best mate Jetplaneflyer for a repair , just glad Steve is a top bloke and can help

Well at last the main blades came and are so worth the wait , I can now see why Steve likes them test went well no problem After Steve watched it I think we may up the head speed just waiting for the heli guru to give me some new flat lines to try

Hi guys I have always wanted a Tricopter I was going to get the Talon Tricopter the frame was £40 but then Hobby king upped the price to £85 its a nice frame but is it really worth £85 , When you can get a Tricopter kit for less
So Chatting with my best mate Steve AKA Jetplaneflyer he said I have one not been flown for over a year I will post it , WOW Thanks Steve well here it is I changed the KK2 to the KK2.1.5 hard case as this has Steveis1,8s1 pro , I messed with the gains and there is a little wobble on self level mode but I want it to snap level if I let go of the sticks I am hoping to learn nose in with this Tricopter the stick scaling I upped so once I am used to how it flies I can try some loops and rolls

Hi Guys well not a lot going on these days
But Debs ( wing commander) Blade 230 S came to day but weather is not nice so no testing ,I hope tomorrow will be better
It looks nice a lot of plastic for its price but I am just used to bigger high end helis , so once its had its test flight to make sure its right , it will be teaching Debs how to fly , she got bored with the Phantom so now wants to fly helis , I hope she will progress up to a 500 at the moment she says thats too big
I see Vik( flying pitcher)has just found quads and is having fun" good on you Vik" , I have not flown mine for over year will have to get it out again or strip it and build a Tricopter
I still fly my Hubsan x4 FPV quad , but Helis are in my Blood just love flying them so much more

Well My Doc has changed my drugs and its made me do strange thing so I landed up putting the Goblin in the dirt , so needed one skid and a tail fin , here is the after flight in strong wind after this flight I have changed the normal head speed from 1900 to 1960 rpm as the nodding on the tail which is due to hard dampers in the head and low RPM goes when I hit Idle up 1 , to windy today 26 MPH to test but hope tomorrow will be better

Hi guys just a few Photos of the Spirit pro and optipower mounted inside frame I had to remove the gyro mounting plate as I could not fit it all in

Well guys its done thanks to Steve aka jetplaneflyer with out all his help it would still be sat waiting to be finished , I have a small wag to tune out I think it may be cyclic gains but here is the video of the maiden hover in a small garden lol

Hi Guys well the Spirit pro came still waiting on the servos but started set up , took a bit of messing to set up throttle as the Castle wants one setting and the Spirit needs another
Well all done now and I am all 3 head speeds working helped by Steve
so once the servos come the real set up will start
Dry lube stayed put when heli was started up so thats good I wanted some bearing oil for the scorpion motor well its like rocking horse poo
in the UK so I got some Heli Option bearing oil which is ment to be good
The optipower is fitted and ready to go

Hi Guys well both servos are now with Steve ( jetplaneflyer) and good news is the tail servo is all good it must had been the 3GX not switching to narrow band , the cyclic servo is DOA so now waiting on gartt to let us know how they want to go ahead with getting me a new one , Flight packs are now here Zippy compact 4000mah 2 per flight as its 12 cell set up , optipower back up system is also here , just waiting for the spirit pro and servo

Hi Guys well I thought I would give this a try , its had some good reviews so I put it on the G630 main gear , you paint it on let it dry for 20 mins , as its a dry lube it stays clean and nothing sticks to it , and they say the more pressure it under the better it works so time will tell

HI Guys Merry Xmas to you all , Yes its Xmas day , Well last night I carried on with the Goblin build , and guess what Sods law pop in
1x cyclic servo and Tail servo Dead the both twitched once and that was it ,I tried another 3GX I had and still nothing so now its back to My best mate Steve to help me sort it the servos will go to him so he can test and get replacements , No rush any way still need to get the Spirit pro fbl unit in
But every thing else work ok Zippy receiver battery charged and fitted so I can make the loom, now done
AS150 anti spark fitted to the ESC
SAB servo arms came and fitted to the working servos
The to do list is getting smaller
Make loom for main flight packs still waiting for EC5 to come
Fit spirit pro and set up
Get new main batteries
Steve said get the zippy 4000Mah bummer not in stock or shall I get the turnigy 4500Mah which are in stock but a bit heavier than the zippy no rush zippys will come in stock

Hi Guys well the ESC has come also got lemon sats , 8 awg wire still need more parts but will have to wait till after Xmas

Well guys not a lot going on I am saving hard for parts needed to build OMG there is so much more to large helis I didnt know , like battery connectors need to be 120 - 200 amps min , I have got lemon DSMX sat receiver coming and other small parts like wire braiding, 8 awg wire ,so slowly getting there
Good new sold the 380 motor I had so thats topped up the build fund
