I'm pretty happy with how the markings looks on the Spitfire depite the fact that they are only laser printed on classic paper and stuck on the plane using Formula 560 canopy glue (because it's a non yellowing glue that become transparent once dried).

My little Piper cub was maidened with success on last tuesday

The purpose of this plane was to be used to learn how to fly "indoor" to young pilots.
It's a very fun and easy to fly model.
Easy to build and of course very affordable.
I wanted a plane easy to store and to carry so the wings can be removed.

The plane can be used to fly "indoor" and also to fly "outdoor" (in calm weather)

For now the plane is powered with a small Bushless 2205c 1600kv, a 12A ESC, a 8x4.3sf prop and a 450mAh 2S 30c lipo.
Average flight time outdoor is : 6 minutes +
AUW is : 245g

Cheers !

That was a time i haven't designed a new foamie.

We have a bunch of new rookies R/c pilots that had joined our club this year and that couldn't come and learn to fly while we was flying indoor, so... i started to design a plane very inspired from a Piper Cub but heavily modified to be easy to build and allow to perform soft and mild flights but also some 3D flights, if differently set.

The build is from 3mm and 6mm Depron.

I hope the plane will reach the goal... we will see that shortly !

Hi there,

The little Pusher prop Bronco is officialy converted as an experimental plane

I will experiment a 3D printed landing gear system i designed for her and see if it's something that can be used...

Answer... as soon as possible !

Hi,
Successful maiden flight and second flight for my Spitfire Mk.Vb Durafly yesterday afternoon.

The plane is rather touchy, specialy on the pitch axis (as the real ?), the engine deliver enough power to climb verticaly.

Just keep in mind that the landing edge is narrow and that the wheels are "scale" so... Kiss landings are the rule and as on real classic gear aircrafts, think to keep the elevator stick full back when taxying, if you don't want the plane's nose to dive toward the ground !

I just finished and maidened with success my "Fox epp", a nice mini Slope glider kit from Causemann (Germany).

It looks more a Swift S1 than a Fox, but it's great bargain imho.

The glider is 100 made from EPP. Wings are hot wire cut and the fuselage is milled.

The build is not for beginner (no information and no build notice are delivered with the kit) but is not a real problem for modelers that are used to build their own models.

Wing Span is : 120 cm
All up Weight is under 250g

The glider is very fun to pilot fly and climb very well too.

a nice little "near crash proof" aerobatic slope glider

This week, little Arcus Airy 780 passed the 57 flying hours.
Sadly the flying conditions was rather poor on the slope but it's still a real pleasure to fly that mini slope glider that is able to fly from 10km/h winds and up to 40+ Km/h winds.

She is the best 17€ i ever invested in my life, for sure !

ArcusAiry780 Playing in weak conditions for her 57th flying hour. (4 min 13 sec)

Enjoy !

Hi !
I finally could maidened my HK Ridge Ryder flying Wing. This is a little video of the maiden flight.

Ridge Ryder - Maiden flight (5 min 56 sec)

This wing is pretty easy to pilot and is able to fly with poor conditions (i had no more than 10-15 Km/h winds during the maiden flight).
I used the indicated Center Of Gravity position.

I think she will be able to carry some light weight FPV gear or a mobius.

May be increasing the lateral surface could be a good idea too to avoid her "butt" to wiggle at low speed

A very nice product for $24

Hello,

I just finished the build of the most famous protocol droid of the last 40 years.

This is a 1:12 plastic model kit from Bandai (Japan import).
If you are not a model builder, no problem : It's really easy to build, no need of any painting or any glue. All parts just slot together and fits perfectly.

It was a real pleasure !

Hi,

I have the great opportunity to make a review and a fligh test of the very nice FMS / RocHobby MXs 1100mm

The indicated specs was :
Wing span : 1100mm
Length : 1080 mm
Wing Area : 30.8 dmē
Wing load : 35.7 g/dmē (i.e. the same as a fiber glass slope glider !)

I started the review here :

Last Wednesday i received a Ridge Ryder Kit from HK Europe.

I just unboxed the model yesterday and i have to admit that I'm very pleased with the quality of this very affordable model

Wing span is 910mm and was sold as a kit for less than $24 during the flash sales !!

I plan to use it as an FPV/UAV model.

Last Sunday i flew the Sky-King for the second time.
Some R/C buddies wanted to try it so... I shared this Toy with them

Sharing the Sky king with Rc Buddies (5 min 35 sec)

All of them enjoyed and had fun !

May be the next flight will be at the slope ?

See you !

Hi !

This is a little video made with some rushes i took on sunday morning to test my new Mobius Action Cam (Lens-A) :

Troll Session (3 min 53 sec)

As you can see, the TROLL is what we can call a Slow flyer !!

This little biplane is the best 3D foamie i ever piloted and i really enjoy each flight with her !

Hi there,

Gearbest.com offered me the opportunity to test a little foamy 3 Ch. electric powered glider called "Sky-King"

This is the video of the maiden flight :
Sky king Maiden flight (6 min 31 sec)

It's a funny little bird, very well designed and i'm pretty sure that it can easily be modified as a micro FPV mini plane or be used to perform some aerial video.

Enjoy the video and sorry, it was my first time piloting with a mode 2 transmitter (i usualy use mode 1)

Hello,

After a long sleep in the clusters of my hard disk drive, the Canadair CL-415 project is back on track !

I learnt some new building tricks using a hot wire cut during the build of my Me-109E PSS project and i hope to use them again for building this bird.

4th of July Update : i don't want a too big bird so... Scale is fixed at 1/32.
Span will be 90cm (35.5 inches) ; lenght : 69cm ; height : 28 cm

4Th of april : i managed to find some free time and start the build !
