Saturday found a decent sized group of us on the West side, overlooking the turnpike. Winds were supposed to be WNW, but luckily for us they were straight out of the West. It was a bit nippy, especially with a 15mph wind (yeah!). Lots of slopeing happening. We even had Paul, Mike N, and Larry setting up a high start and getting some practice in for FSS#1.

Last pic. It's a neat, very small scale plane that Paul picked up this week.

This Saturday we had a medium sized crowd. Wind was about 10mph out of the East. Wind shifted to the NE around Noon, but no one left the East slope to go to the NE bowl. Plenty of good flying!

Very unusual this Saturday, we had a strong West wing. Winds were about 15mph, so we brought out the "heavy metal" stuff. Luckily, the cold front that all our Northern friends had sent our way, had passed through, We were blessed with 70 deg temps, which made the flying so enjoyable.

Enjoy the pics!
