All PVC plastic tubing is 1" inside dia.

The main rail is 7' Ft long. 2 pcs.
Front uprights pcs are 12" long. 2 pcs.
Back uprights pcs are 4" long. 2 pcs.
Lower spacers are 15" long. 3 pcs.
90° elbows to fit 1" tubing 6 pcs.
T - fittings 4pcs.
exercise band 1 pc.
eye bolts 3pcs.
Twine like used for kites 12' length
Screws 8 pcs.
Old shoe lace 1pc.
Wire tent stakes 5 pcs.

I use a sawall with a hacksaw blade to cut all the parts.
Cut tubing to lengths needed and cut the T's in half so they can support the railing without getting in way of the wing sliding down the rail.
Use the screws to fasten the cutoff T's onto the bottom of the railing where you want them. Mine are flush of the high end and 4" back on the low end.
Make sure the T's are inline so your launcher will be square.
I used a couple of eyebolts for the trigger mechanism, but you might have to look around in the hardware section to see what you can use.

New Wing launcher is ready to go come warmer weather.
I've been having issues launching my wing when the wind is coming from behind me so this should take care of that. I tested it out and she will throw the wings about 20' across the runway at our club field. More than enough time and height for me to get on the throttle. Oh, looks cool doing it too.

Alright, I finished up the new 37" Bluecor Foam Wing.
37" WS; 14" Root; 5" tips; and the sweep is 36°.

Here's my new 48" BC Wing and I'm calling it the Orange Sickle.
Powered by a 450 3050KV motor so it might be a little fast.
This wing is going to suck the juice quickly I'm afraid.
Will past everything but a charger at the field.
The maiden is going to be a blast.

Been flying there about 7 months.

So here's what I've been building this winter as the cold weather is still around.
This is a bluecor foam 46" WS flying wing that comes in at 16.5 oz.
The maiden will be first chance I get; maybe in a week or so.
There's no hurry as first flight on these wings is a touchy thing, as you never

My flying buddy took these pics back in Nov.
The red kite is finally trimmed out.
I even got it to do inverted flat spins right before the weather turned cold.
Our club is having a 1/1/2011 polar fly as they do each year.
This will be my first one and looking forward to it; as I haven't been flying in weeks.
Work on my new flying wing will be finished soon, another Bluecor foam wing. A 48" WS wing with 36° sweep and a 400f 2200 KV motor.

RED KITE #5 flys like a Cadillac.
This is a great kite to fly.

Alright, for the 4th I moved the FOD cam to the back of the USA IFO kite.
Which made the kite really tail heavy, but I gotta get the shots for this blog, so I dealt with it. Lots of forward stick on this flight.
The prop wash is kind of cool in this one, as it doesn't cover the whole screen with that shutter like affect.
I'm up for ideas on the next FOD cam production.
Well, I'll come up with something interesting.

My first hat mounted fod cam footage of a roll off the ground
takeoff. This is exciting stuff as the kite just takes to the air.
The LGK as I call her is a good floater slow fly kite.
LGK's wingspan of 35.5" means that it's not much of a roller,
but maybe it's my flying. She loses 10' every time I roll it.
I'll try to practice some new tricks for the next shoot.

This is a great video from my key chain camera.
You see the fluidity of the subject line as I put the
USA kite through it's routine. OK, I think the cam
mount is loose. Might need some more PSCS (scotch tape)
on it, to hold it down.
I'll get good at this stuff one day, right.

I maidened my new 42" wing on Sun. 2-21-2010.
The wing was launched strait up out of my hand.
Was surprised that the 1oz motor could handle it.
I'm a kite pilot most of the time so to me this wing is
fast. The wing was doing 30+ mph and running out
field in no time. I think I need a bigger field to fly it in.
This plane flew great and needed no trimming at all.
That's a first for any plane that I have built.
Wing tracked strait and slowed down to a crawl without
stalling. Flew it for 6 min and then brought it in for nice
belly landing. The wind was kicking so I decided to go home
all my planes in tact.
