A local TV station in Seattle did a piece on the Seattle Soaring Society and the three club members who made up the Junior team at the F3J World Champs in France earlier this year. For a TV piece it's not bad, and it was great to see the guys getting their medals.

As we were finishing dinner, on the deck, looking over Puget Sound at the end of a beautiful, sunny (believe it or not) day in Seattle, I heard an unusual noise. Engines, recips from the sound and over that more engine sounds. Reasonably close to the house. They made 3 passes over Puget Sound and by the time I got the camera, changed the lens and got set up, it was the third pass and they were further away. No idea what the occasion was but it was cool anyway!
