The little lightning bolt is surprisingly tricky. My son (he's 5) was crucial in helping me get the size to look even remotely good. I tossed version one and two before settling on this one. -

I cut the servo wells all the way through the wing, then pushed the servo into the well until it was perfectly flush. -

I discovered that the CG was a bit aft of 2.25" so I cut out most of the battery cage (leaving the door frame for structure) then added this foam block to the forward wall to carry the LiPo vertically.
