Latest test results are in. I am in complete remission! If I can hold this newest scan results for 5 years, they can declare me cancer free. It's been hard, but with faith and family, I have prevailed! My health has suffered from the disease and from the treatments. I may never be able to chase down my planes, so won't be flying, but then I never did much flying anyway, as I just sucked at it. Ground vehicles, grandkids, other minor hobbies take up my free time, so all is good in my little corner of the world. Thanks for reading, and thanks for all the support and friendship.

Continuing to have ill effects from treatment. Nausea is back, along with dizziness, and lower stomach pains. Some days it is just better to stay in my PJs and lay on a heating pad. I have taken so much dilaudid and oxycotin that my system has built up a tolerance. Seems like Advil does as much good as they do. Just trying to keep as active as I can. I try to push myself one day, then the next day, I am too tired to do much. So it is about every other day as far as feeling like doing much. I do enjoy setting at the bar in the kitchen and tinkering on my "toys" My wife has gotten pretty good about understanding and lets me leave a mess out for several days if I don't feel up to finishing it or cleaning up after I work on something. I am hanging tough. I still intend to beat this, and I think I CAN beat it. That is as important as anything, just knowing that I can outlast the effects. Getting better will come in time, and I know it. Thanks to all that read and thanks to everyone that supports this site, and this hobby.

Home again now. Good days and bad. Dr said I should have more good as time goes. Good days are just fair. Bad days are pretty bad. Still pretty much house bound for now, but hoping to get more active as the spring weather comes in. pretty cold here this morning. Supposed to get into the single digits in a day or so. I am weak, tired and not eating much. But hey, I never lost any hair off my head. Body hair is all gone, I look like a newborn, only bigger and uglier. LOL.

Finished therapy, sicker than a dog most of the day, but hey, every day should get better from here on out. I appreciate anyone that thought of me, or prayed for me during my illness, thus far. Thanks

Just two more treatments left!! Nausea meds are beginning to work better now. But I am just so tired! Hanging in there, putting up a good fight. Dr says I have a good chance to kick this to the curb this time, if I will just try to stay strong, eat well, and try to be as active as possible I had prostate cancer surgery in 2004, now it seems to have popped up in my bladder.

My cancer therapy is kicking my butt. Most days I don't feel like getting out of the house. I am going nuts. If I can get through this, keep my sanity, and regain my strength, I would like to travel and meet some of the guys I have "met" online via this site. Then there are the occasional ones that I would like to meet, just call them keyboard warriors to their faces. There a 4 or 5 here that try a dying man's patience. But then guys like that are just a waste of good body organs. If I sound bitter, maybe I am, some. Maybe its the pain talking, or the nausea, or the boredom. Anyway< have been fighting this for a while now, and will continure to do so.
