Tchoo Les Amis,

360°, Circle Mode ... Vomis Mode oui !

If you like to fly DJI drones as well as 5.8 Ghz racing drones, then the new DJI Racing Edition Goggles may be just what you have been looking for. They support Ocusync as well as 5.8 Ghz analog FPV signals. They are bright, comfortable and have an amazing image quality.
Check out our full review of them!

With snow and hard winds, flying is out of the question. Dreams of warm summer days on the slopes seem like just dreams. I decided to prepare a little for those longer excursions where you need more charge, borrow a pack, fix something or whatnot and went on a solder spree....! The picture does not even show it all. I also made a TX charging cable, a custom setup so the kids can safely charge their monster truck NiMH without my help and various automotive adapters among other things.

(Note that the yellow connector adapters are ready-bought items. With those and my cables I should be ready for almost anything!)

This is a pretty nice little drone (same as the JJRC H67) that carries a Santa Lego figure and plays x-mas music such as Jingle Bells very loudly! LOL Overall a very fun little x-mas themed drone that is fun to fly around the Christmas trees or X-mas parties.

The very second the K110 lifted off the ground I had this massive moment of Deija Vu that made me almost lose control of the K110 . Well moments later I hit something in anyway which brought on more Deija Vu . I had this eerie feeling that I had done this before , but how was that possible ? And then it hit me like a brick through a glass plate window ( James Bond ) . I had done this before , with my Super CP . The XK K100 was flying and handling almost exactly the same as my Super CP from (?) almost half a decade ago . ( I failed to break mine )

My initial impression was that the K110 was very mushy around neutral stick ( center ) , rates @ stock were 80% with 20% Expo .. And after lowering rates and lowering expo ( 75% Rates - 5% Expo ) , it was still very mushy feeling around center stick . ( Yes I bounced the K110 off a few things in the very limited space I was hovering in ) . I gave up and just switched to 100% rates and no Expo .. Much better ! The problem with mushy controls is that the K110 is very lively and once it starts to move you really want to stay on top of it or else it will bounce off something before you get a chance to do anything .

In no way shape would I say the K110 is noob friendly , not even as a second model . In 6 axis mode it is capable of covering a lot of ground in one second and unless you are heli familiar you just might keep the spare parts sellers in business . Now there are a few things I don't care for in 6...Continue Reading

This is my scratch built 1984 90ft series Broward Yacht in 1/24th scale. It was built from borrowed full size blueprints-Its a fiberglass molded hull (from my scaled down drawings, plug and mold) with a plywood cabin. Its many features include:
1. Working radar antennas(accomplished thru the use of geared micro motor,VCR belts and a flex shaft).
2. Working Hot Tub-fills when activated and bubbles(will not overflow)and auto drains when the pump shuts off.
3. Lighted nav screens-Radar,sonar, MFD , and course plotter
4. RC sound system (from SD card or bluetooth)
5.Underwater "Yacht Lights"
6. LED nav ,entrance way, cabin windows (with mini blinds), aft galley, and bar lights
7. Scratch built 13ft Boston Whaler and scratch built 40 hp Johnson motor
8. Working search light-the light is controlled to sweep with the "aileron stick"only when the lights are selected on(accomplished with a micro 5v relay)
9. All placards and decals were scratch done as was the anchor, cleats, vertical windlass, Horns, liquor on the bar, deck chairs, bar stools, canister life rafts, rudders, shafts, struts, and cappuccino maker (got to have a cappuccino maker!)
10. Working bilge pump-a chamber with a calibrated "leak" fills and a water sensor (scratch designed and built) turns on the pump, pumps out port and starboard and latches on until another contact is cleared(preventing fast cycling)-giving the boat a lived in look when sitting static about once every...Continue Reading

There is something inheirently wrong with the fact that I have no less than 9 planes, 8 quads and 6 helis that I haven’t flown in the past 2 years. Add to that the 5 action cameras, nine receivers, seven FPV cameras, six fc’s and eight vtx’ s , all still in their packages, that were needed for very important builds, that haven’t even been started…anyway, the problem isn’t my RC obsession as my wife would claim,

it’s my job…it gets in the way of my flying, my builds, and my bench testing, everything. If I didn’t need the money to support this obssesion, I’d have quit my job a long time ago…

I ran into a guy the other day who flies for Gaul…that’s his JOB!! He travels all over and spends all of his time flying…I told my buddies at the flying field how cool that would be, and that I was considering soliciting to the big manufacturer’s my particular skillset,

building…and they all agreed that I can build with the best of them.

I can build quads. Helis, planes, buggies…all of them faster than anyone I know, I can even build them in my sleep… At any given time you will find at least 6 to 10 builds on my shop going on simultaneously…some that I haven’t even decided what they are going to be yet…

Anyway, if any big manufacturer’s out there are reading this, I’ll be checking my “in” box daily for job offers. be sure to include the salary, liberal vacation schedule and number of free quads, planes and helis a month you plan to supply me with, (I’ll be needing batteries for those as well) and I will get back to the one with the best offer quickly.

Please check out my latest edit from my tiny whoop with recently changing to the Betafpv Beta65s frame and 7x16mm motors kit it is a whole new beast and its safe to say I'm not going back to the standard 6x15mm. If you race, the required motor size is 6x15mm in almost all tiny whoop racing leagues I believe but I do not race so keep that in mind. The torque difference is very noticeable and has the ability to catch itself much better after flips/rolls, I wouldnt say the top end speed is that much different though from a 6x15mm setup. Please check out my latest edit of it here:

7x16mm Tiny Whoop Fun (3 min 7 sec)

-The full setup is in the description of the video, minus the props I did use the king kong 3 blade props which are the exact same prop as far as I can tell that comes with the kit.

Day 5 & 6. Chemo side effects include jitters, nausea, and back pain.
Today day 6 is the most noticeable.
Got a get well card in the mail from a friend I have yet to shake hands with!
Thanks to John Higgins!
Hopefully tomorrow will be easier.

The Gemfan 2540 props are quieter, better balanced and only slightly less powerful that the stock king kong 2840 propellersbut they are MUCH more efficient = longer flight times. Lastly they are inexpensive - $1.20 - $2.00 per set depending on where you get them. Until something better comes along I will not be using any other props.

My full review here including sections specific to 2s and 3s batteries: http://quadifyrc.weebly.com/reviews/...540-propellers
