Okay here is the deal, Just recieved two 70mm EDFs from Hobby King. I wished to put some bullet connectors on the bare wires. After soldering the connectors on to the exposed wires. I turned on my transmitter, then plugged in the battery. Gave a little bit throttle for a test of the EDF and it spazzed out! Jerking and not running properly. I took the bullet connectors off. And wanted to see if the EDF would run so I held the bare wires to the esc. Worked Just fine. My Question is it the solder I was using? The Solder Joints were just fine. Let me know what you think.

Anyone know what electric power system I should use to convert a Zlin Z-50 to electric? Brushless motor, esc, and battery? It is suggested to use a .45 2c or .56 4c. Thanks for the help.
