Here is my install guide and review for some of the metal parts for the WL Toys 144001.

I've written about why I chose the parts I did, why I avoided the ones I did and which other parts I'd consider.

A full install guide with pictures is there too.

Hello good people,

Just sharing some experience with swapping over a good frontal bearing from a spare motor to my favorite motor that developed an issue with it's Frontal Motor Bearing. The spare motor was actually on this recently acquired Park Zone T-28 Trojan with retracts and noticed that my Batteries were coming a little warm, usually they come down luke warm. Please NOTE that the motor that came with this recently acquired Trojan did NOT have the Bad Frontal Motor Bearing issue.

Took apart both motors and with a little planning and caution, the parts were secured carefully. Both motor frontal bearings were taken out by lightly tapping them out with a wooded dowel and tested the bad bearing on the rotation bell of one motor and sure enough it made a rattle of a noise. (Video).

Swapped the good frontal bearing to my favorite (Stator) Park Zone 480 motor that always gives good performance and low AMP draw using the Master Airscrew 10 X 7 X 3. Static testing after putting together the flight motor yielded very good power:

EDIT: I found a good article about Brushless Motors at:

FULL THROTTLE: 183 WATTs / 17.3 AMPs / 10.7 Volts

On Tuesday (07-07-2020), I flew this recently acquired PZ Trojan from a local friend and it performed very well with very good airspeed but, again the batteries seemed to come down a little warmer than expected. I do hope that using my favorite Stator (Motor) would give better...Continue Reading

Yep Les Amis,

Poubelle ! lol (45 min 14 sec)

NOTATAZ : 17.5/20 Très bon rapport qualité prix malgré tout !

Niveau : Amateurs
Les + : Bien équipé, Belles finitions, Bien réglé sortie de boite, Résistant, Autonomie correcte, Agréable à piloter, Puissant ...
Les - : Hélices à jeter ! Tubes d'antenne à rallonger, XT60 jaune (beurk ! lol), Fixation Lollipop à vérifier.

The stock ESC that comes with the ZOHD Dart 250g (and probably other ZOHD models), was proving hard to calibrate until I understood the reason.

If the zero throttle position is not captured within 3 seconds of applying battery power to the ESC, it will enter "programming mode" and an endless loop of beeps!

This means you need to zero the throttle immediately (within 1 second) after the 2 initial short "beep-beep" tones. The "manual" implies that you have 3 seconds after the 2 initial "beep-beep" before it enters programming mode. You don't, you have 1 second only.

This will be true if you calibrate via iNav (Outputs tab), or a PWM receiver.

This build is all about performance (Basically the most versatile UM RC bush plane).

With a 3000 KV motor and a 2S 7.4V 280 mAh battery it should have more than enough power to accelerate in a vertical climb.

No stickers and no gear leg fairings to save weight.

Should be a quick build and an awesome performance aircraft!

Review Part 3 - MinimumRC Micro Spitfire Warbird BNF Kit New Servo & CG Test Flights

MinimumRC Planes:

Banggood GCRC

Here is a link to the Video:

I love these Micro / Nano Planes from MinimumRC!
This is the third Plane from MinimumRC I have reviewed thus far and this BNF Kit is courtesy of MinimumRC.
These Planes are so small and light they make great Planes for flying outdoors in smaller areas and for flying indoors during the Winter or when the weather won't permit flying outdoors.
I think MinimumRC is doing some very good things in the design of these Planes and they also have a great inventory of electronics for your own Micro / Nano Plane projects.
The Builds are pretty simple and the downloadable Build Manual really makes it easy.
If you've never checked out MinimumRC you should take a look @

I compared the full movement of the Aileron Servo with another Micro Servo I had in my inventory and found it was only moving half the distance it should.
So, certain that the Aileron Servo is bad, I relaced it and now I'm going to test out the Roll Rate again and also test some CG adjustments to see what feels best with my Flying Style ;-)

Here are links to the Kits, Associated Electronics, and other Needful Things.
