FMS800 Vtail (5 min 45 sec)

I haven't flown this in a long time ..
The conditions were really sweet , the 800 just needed a little trim ..
Anyone that likes a really gentle flying model ..

This one has a Hobby King folding prop and almost the entire flight was @ 50% throttle .

Micro Tundra crashed and broken (5 min 50 sec)

Wow , what's with the crashing ?
Almost like , flying skills deteriorated after 2 years of lock downs .

Yeah , MT .. I pushed my luck and broke it ..
But , it is reparable ..
Though I cant trust the way the wing mounts ( weak ) without the wing struts ( I broke the plastic ends that screw into the wing / model ) ..
So I will have to resort to old tech ... BBQ skewers and rubber bands for extra hold down power .
Micro Tundra will fly again ..

Crashed the XK A430 (6 min 40 sec)

Oh dear !
Was doing some inverted flying ..
And forgot all about rule No1 .. Don't chase the plane ...

Yes , I began to chase the plane .. & I should have pulled the plug on the inverted flight right away when it happened .
But I thought I could get ahead of it ..

I was wrong ! I had time to pull the plug but got stubborn about it ..
And the XK A430 flew into me ...

No , no pain or suffering , except for the embarrassment !
The XK A430 is so small and light I barely felt the impact .. + I cut the motor just before impact ..
No damage to the A430 .. So just kept flying .
I have to remember , the A430 is a fast angry little monster and things happen quickly .
Which is why you need to be ahead of the plane ..

Oh well , stuff happens and it's good to have a football field to yourself so you can hot dog a little .

Two Battery Morning ( Turbo Timber ) (8 min 41 sec)

After a short sharp 2 month lock down ...

Im a little Rusty ....

First battery to familiarize myself with the TT ...... again !

And the 2nd battery to try some inverted stuff ... Try and pick up where I left off .

This was Melbourne Cup morning ...

Anyways , the TX16 sure gives a slow roll ... Might have to go back to the Taranis .
Also , might need a new motor ...
Really feeling the lack of power with the TT , just needs more , just Turbo it a little .
The two blade is better than the 3 blade , just needs ....................... more
It's almost there , just not quite reaching it's full potential .
And I am not brave enough to 3s it ..
So I might want to start looking at a new motor ..
