🧐Yep Les Amis,

Micro Tundra crashed and broken (5 min 50 sec)

Wow , what's with the crashing ?
Almost like , flying skills deteriorated after 2 years of lock downs .

Yeah , MT .. I pushed my luck and broke it ..
But , it is reparable ..
Though I cant trust the way the wing mounts ( weak ) without the wing struts ( I broke the plastic ends that screw into the wing / model ) ..
So I will have to resort to old tech ... BBQ skewers and rubber bands for extra hold down power .
Micro Tundra will fly again ..

Hi guys,

I will report a report about the construction of the Blackburn Buccaneer.

The technical data of the jet:

Wingspan 200cm
Fuselage length 265cm
Weight 13,5Kg
Impeller 2 x Stumax SM110-52
ESC 2 x Hacker Mezon 130A BEC with 5V fan
Battery 11-12s 5000mAh 25C
Landing gear Giezendanner EL-15
Battery switch Jeti MaxBEX 2 / 2 x Hyperion 2s1600mAh Life
Brake cone / airbrake - 180° servo
Receiver Jeti R12

The first fuselage frames were drawn in CorelDraw X5. There are a lot of 2D views of the jet, where you could get the dimensions.

The model was further calculated with the FLZ method. The FLZ_Vortex program was used for this purpose. The wing sweep was defined at 0,5°.

Hi friends.

My turbine is a king tech 120 G it has approximately 17 hours of use, it had been working well until yesterday when I presented the following problem.

The whole starting process makes it perfect, but when I am going to accelerate if I do it slowly it reaches the maximum acceleration without problems, but if I accelerate it fast to the maximum when it reaches the maximum acceleration it flames out and throws a Blue candle, and mark flame out on the computer.

Look for possible problems but everything seems fine:

The fuel line is not obstructed, it is perfect, the battery has a good voltage,.

The fuel pump is a PK 500 and in the settings, it is 700.
Acceleration is at 007.

Also weighing that it was the radio control, he did teaching with the turbine again and after that, he continued presenting the same problem.

According to the symptoms and the color of the fire, I think there is a lot of oxygen entering the combustion chamber and little fuel.

Some ideas that can help me, please.

The above link is from the General forum discussion on the best wheels/tires for reducing bouncing during touchdowns. The B777 probably has the most expensive and sophisticated design to minimize bouncing. Commercial and military pilots are trained to touchdown at fairly consistent rates of descents which helps designers solve the problem. However RC flying is more difficult due to lack of visual cues and lack of oil filled shock absorbers.

RC pilots spend more time trying to make the perfect landing using different models in the same 2 hour flying session. Different models require different techniques and can lead to frustration. Sticking with one design helps to improve the best technique.

So this is Derek Micko's gorgeous, scratch-built Polikarpov I-16 "Rata" flying to a period correct piece of music :
Warszawianka (Whirlwinds of Danger) - Derek Micko's Polikarpov I-16 Rata at St. George Utah (4 min 16 sec)

The Warszawianka (Whirlwinds of Danger) was a very popular revolutionary song that became famous during the Spanish Civil War, where these little fighters shocked the world...

Enjoy !

I'm determined to build a conventional glider, but this time, I'm not going to try to use an 8 year old wing....and yes, she'll be based on an Ugly Stik.

First guess is a ~60" wing span with either a PW-51 or an Aquila Airfoil.Stay tuned

This is one of a rare breed from "Jerry L Smith" Paducah KY, when he made the circuits of the big fly ins in his red corvette. I don't think to many full kits like this where made in favor of just selling plans with instructions. This box seal was never opened until me this evening cause I really needed to know what's in the box prior to selling off.

Well it does not look like I will ever get to this project, heck did not even remember I had bought it until a recent hunt in the barn for JR Matchboxes someone was in need of. I wanted to time capsule document prior to selling off.

The amerikan people are in such war against pork, let alone meat, it's a rare day that rudolf brings back any pork flavor. Lions now manely buy grocery bags for garbage bags instead of putting food in. At what point are there so many restrictions on foods & grocery bags that it's no longer worth staying?

17mm tapering to 9mm
Semi solid xps core 5mm tube channel

1lay GF 50g + 1cf tow 12K spread apart + 1lay GF 50g

I start with a 4x4cm foam piece. I drill the tubular channel into the foam piece with my drill and a CF arrow shaft. This is done inch by inch since you have to unclog the channel from foam pieces cut and squeezed by the arrow shaft as it drills.
When this is done I have a 4x4x50cm piece with a tubular channel morphed into the piece. The arrow shaft serves multiple purposes. it keeps the piece straight and strong so you could work around glassing it and rapping it and it gives access to your wiring and saves 0.5g.
Then I go over to the hot wire bench. With the arrow shaft fitted into the channel, I fit two washers at the end of the piece, one of 1cm diameter and one of 1.7-2cm diameter. The washers serve as a guide for the hot wire to cut into a perfect tapered boom!

Then it's glass time, I cut the 50g cloth in one piece that will wrap 2times around the foam boom. I lightly spray the boom with glue and place it over the cloth for a full rotation. I then pause, lay down the CF hairs on the remaining cloth, hanging from the boom, and wrap the remaining cloth with the CF strings around the boom.
So I have 2layers of GF which have sandwiched CF strips.

I secure the cloth in place with a plain string with a few wraps along the boom. Then I mix epoxy and roll it onto the boom for a good soak. I drain with toilet paper the excess epoxy and wrap the whole thing with straps of PP sheets tightly until it cures.

Sound a bit too complicated, but actually, it's not! I took me about 1-2 hours to complete.

If the police were making proper use of riot guns at riots it would never have been an issue.

There are a lot of rights in this country. You don't have the right to destroy someone else's property or to steal their stuff.

I believe you have the right to defend your self and your property. If you get hurt committing a crime you should not be able to sue your victim.
