Finally did maiden flight today. As expected a nice easy flying twin. Maiden done without cowls and back fuselage cone off. Third flight everything mounted and my normal 5 min duration. Lipos showed 3.85 volts per cell after landing. Lipos mounted very back edge of tray and stacked per pair. Flaps extended for last flight causing minor nose pitch up.

My FW 190 with change up in monokote scheme next to fellow club members new 190 that has been stripped, glassed and painted. Both are the TopFlite GS FW 190 arf.

My H9 30cc spitfire next to club members TopRC spitfire. I sure do like the appearance of his Spitfire. This is my second H9 spitfire. Mine flies nice and smooth and when landing it just sticks to runway. The TopRC spitfire is gas powered and has problems with engine getting hot.

I extended the firewall about 3 inches and still needed about 6 oz. lead bolted to firewall.

Another arf currently working on. Switching out my rimfire 50cc setup for a Saito FG-90R3 gas engine. Fellow club member has this arf like others with the Saito FG-60R3 gas engine. It is not flying fast enough for me with 60cc. Cylinders obviously will be sticking out on mine. I will make removable hatches from cut out cowl panels to cover up areas around valve covers.

This is my second try with this now discontinued H9 arf. I have extended the battery box about 3" to be able to balance the plane without any extra weight. My first one needed about 14 oz. placed over motor.

Just finished this arf conversion. Watched video of this biplane flying with a scorpion motor and liked the performance. Easy install and lipos fit where exhaust tunnel is on this arf. I have two short test flights so far.

Pics of my F6F Hellcat and fellow club member's F4U Corsair. Both Top Flite giant scale arfs. Hellcat is scheme out of box. Corsair has krylon spray paint over monokote, Corsair is gas powered and Hellcat is electric conversion with Rimfire 50cc.

This is my conversion of the Freewing F4 edf jet using my jetcat p20. I was interested in how it would react in the air with the turbine mounted offset to plane centerline and using straight pipe out one exhaust outlet. During taxi tests it tracked straight down the runway under power so went ahead and did the maiden flight. Short flight making left turn circuits around field then landing. No issues noted from offset turbine, but only the one flight so far.

I now have about 7 flights since converting to turbine power. Flies about the same even with extra weight and lands as slow as edf version. Pleased with the way it turned out. Flight time 5 to 6 minute range depending on throttle usage.

I was able to get the first flight on my turbine conversion today. It took me by surprise because of the short take-off distance using half flaps. No issues during landing with over 1/3 fuel still in tank..

Have about 30 flights averaging about 2.5 minutes each with edf power system. Since the shine has been knocked off I have converted it to turbine power. Just did taxi test today to check if tail end would take heat from single wall turbine pipe. Seemed to hold up and not melt into a puddle! All kinds of room inside this foamy jet but quickly filled with my equipment. I was hoping for weight similar to the edf version with 6S 5000 maH batt but no such luck. Currently comes in at 6lbs. 13.6 oz. without fuel. Had to add about 10 oz. lead to nose for balance.

Jetcat P20 turbine
24 oz. fuel tank located on CG
2S 1000 maH lipo used. One for ecu power and one for receiver pwr.
Sebart single wall pipe that was for avanti s mini. Shortened 4 3/4 inches.
