I'm new to the whole rc thing. I'm handy. . .what ever that means. I am a former pilot but haven't flown in years. All that brings me to this.

I am going to build an airframe from wood. I have a 107cc engine from a chainsaw that I plan to use to power it. 8000 rpm produces 6.5 bhp. I have no idea what the weight will be when I am ready to hang it. I am shooting for an airframe of 50 lbs. This will not be a small unit. We shall see....
