Some PSS i have designed and build from scratch 20 years ago (pictures lower in the thread) :

A small Rafale C01 (balsa and styro + oracover) : definitely a bad flyer. i tried a flat wing (as most of our actual foamies) but without an engine to push her... This mini Rafale C01 PSS was a poor glider.... how sad
Rafale Status : Dismantled

I also made a Bigger Mig-29 Fulcrum (PSS).
The Mig29 was my first Fiber-glass fuselage built from scratch. I used sanded Styro foam covered with brown tape to build my positive mold... Big work and not to bad results.
May be one day i will put a Brushless on the rear of this bird
Mig Status : "wounded" but still...Continue Reading

This is my first "scale model" glider, a mini Schweitzer SH1-26E built from scratch (balsa and foam + fiberglass fuselage covered with Japanese paper and hot wire cut foam wings covered with fiberglass and Oracover).

Wing loading : 35g/dm²

She's a nice flyer for soaring all the afternoon long. She's also able to perform positive aerobatics.

Status : Active

More than 20 years old pictures ... That time flies !

My first self designed glider (PSS style). She was called "US AIR Farce" - In French "une Farce" meens something like "a Joke"... I still like the Thinderbirds paint scheme
