Contixo F10 Night Flight - Let's Check Out Those LEDs (5 min 33 sec)

I just realized that I hadn't done a night flight with the Contixo F10. It flies very much like the Tarantula X6. This thing is all black, but has really prominent LEDs making it easy to fly at night. Real smooth vibe to the video, so you could even let it play in the background.

Contixo F10 Backyard Flight with Runcam HD - No Snow+Sunshine=Must Fly! (8 min 38 sec)

Let's fly the big 'ol Contixo F10 once again. This time in the backyard with a Runcam HD mounted with some rubber bands; nothing special. I don't recommend flying a quad this big in the backyard, but hey, I'm a professional, he-he-he.

How to Fly in FPV Acro Mode with the FPV Freerider Drone Racing Simulator (16 min 15 sec)

I am getting practice flying FPV Acro Mode using the FPV Freerider Drone Racing Simulator. What is acro mode anyway? I cover that in the video as well. There's still a couple of months of winter left, so I'll be honing my skills inside so that I'm ready to rip once the weather turns. If you're looking to learn how to fly FPV in acro mode, you might want to consider this simulator. At the end of the video I show you what remote transmitter and USB controller that I use and how to get everything connected.

JXD 512W Mini UFO Review - Little Parrot Bebop Clone - Shoutout to DJ SOULFORCE! (11 min 20 sec)

The JXD 512W UFO is a little clone of the Parrot Bebop with wifi FPV. You can find it on GearBest. It's not going to blow you away, but it's a lot of fun to fly around the house and the backyard. Pretty zippy and the built in prop guards save you from those inevitable crashes. Big thanks to DJ SOULFORCE for doing the contest and I was blessed enough to be one of the winners.

I'm so ready for winter to be over so I can really get my fly on. Planning on getting many more videos up. Thanks for watching guys and thanks for subscribing and liking the videos. Talk to you later.

Had a break in the snow, rain, and cold so I got the Upair One in the air. I had not flown it in a while, but performance and video quality was about what I have come to expect. The only new thing I'm experiencing is occasional problems getting the quad to find GPS satellites. I'm not sure if what I did to get it to lock on is actually the fix, but it worked this time. I will test that out again if I have the same problem. All and all, I still really like this thing. I know what to expect and what not to expect out of it.

JJRC H31 Flight Test - Waterproof and Snowproof (12 min 10 sec)

I like knowing that no matter the weather conditions, I can still get out and fly. I have flown the JJRC H31 in rain, landed it in puddles, and now in snow and I have to say that it is really waterproof. This thing not only flies well in rainy and snowy conditions, but it flies well period. Kind of reminds me of the Nihui Toys U807. It also has headless mode, one-key return...the usual stuff. A solid, inexpensive quadcopter.

Contixo F10 Plus Unboxing, Review and Flight Test (33 min 38 sec)

I tried to be thorough with the review and cover everything which is why the video is so long. Here's a breakdown of the video if don't want to watch the whole thing. Otherwise, grab a coffee and click play.

Un-boxing / Overview: 0:00 - 7:31
Flight test preview: 7:31 - 14:10
Actual flight test: 23:43 - ending

When I first picked up the Contixo F10 Plus it felt like it was solidly made. It's not heavy, but does have some heft to it due to the large motors and overall size. It's similar to the Tarantula X6, but it has some unique features. As you can see in the video, with the prop guards installed, this thing has quite the wingspan. You definitely won't have any trouble tracking it in the sky. The materials used make this seem more premium than your average toy-grade quadcopter. I did break one of the prop guards in a later flight though, but it protected the props like its supposed to. It has all of the standard features as well as altitude hold and wifi FPV. A 4GB sd card and USB reader comes included and you can record and save video and picture to your phone or to the SD card. The transmitter setup is a little different from some other quads, but easy to get used to. I really like the styling on this quad and it also flies great.

In the low rate, the F10+ is fairly docile and does not pitch much which is good for capturing...Continue Reading

Contixo F5 Altitude Hold Wifi FPV Unboxing and Review (18 min 11 sec)

The first thing I noticed about the Contixo F5 quadcopter is how much it looks like the Yuneec Q500. It is a sweet looking quad, but looks alone does not a good quadcopter make. It flies really well. Out of the 6-7 altitude hold quads I have flown, this one definitely executes this feature the best. Usually quadcopters either dip to the ground or gain altitude when giving full pitch in the high rate, but the F5 maintains its altitude no matter what. Don't expect to be blown away by the video quality, but that is the case for most toy quadcopters.

-Solid altitude hold makes this a smooth flyer
-Headless mode actually works well
-WiFi video feed is fairly stable
-The camera can be tilted
-Auto-start and stop
-Labeled remote controller
-On/off switch
-Durable propellers

-Video quality is meh

Review of the Contixo F3 with altitude hold, wifi fpv, a 720p camera, auto takeoff, auto land and a brand new feature called flight path.

I had a lot of fun with the flight path function. You can literally draw any shape on your smartphone or tablet and the quad will fly that path. It's kind of like waypoints. The yaw is a little touchy, but the altitude hold works great. Flight time is about 4-4.5 minutes. Good little indoor or backyard flyer. It is a bit pricey though. There's a cheaper alternative being released on GearBest by SkyTech TK106RHW.

300th Subscriber GIVEAWAY! - WLToys V686G FPV Review & Flight Test (33 min 38 sec)

Somebody is going to get a V686G FPV quadcopter shipped right to their doorstep. This is my way of saying thank you to everybody that has subscribed to my channel. Once we hit 300 subscribers, I'm going to randomly select one subscriber/comment using this random comment picker: http://www.sandracires.com/en/client/youtube/random.htm

Now, in the video you will hear me say 200 subscribers. Problem is, at that time I was still under 100 subs, but I am now quickly approaching 120! What a blessing! Therefore, I have to increase the number to 300 due to the unexpected subscription rate.

Make sure to watch the video for details, but here's essentially all you have to do to enter:
1. Like the video
2. Subscribe if you haven't already and,
3. Leave a comment about something you're thankful for; one comment per person.

This is limited to residents of the continental United States due to shipping costs. Must be at least 14-years old.

The video is a bit long as I wanted to go into enough detail just in case a beginner ends up with this quad.
Details about the giveaway are in the first quarter of the video.
The review begins at: 5:45
The flight test begins at: 25:28

If you share this video the faster we'll reach 300 and the faster the winner will be selected.

Here's what will be in the box:
--The Quad
--5.8ghz Monitor with antenna
--4 replacement props
--USB micro SD card reader
--4GB SD card
--Three 3.7v LiPo batteries
--Two replacement motors (1 CW, 1 CCW)
--Four replacement gears
--USB charger
--Remote Controller
--Prop guards

Part I
When I'm not flying the UPAIR One, the X8G is my go to quad for aerial video. I have had zero problems with this quad and I only fly it for filming purposes. In light wind conditions, I can get pretty stable and steady video. In windy conditions you have to fly in the high rate, which makes it much more difficult to keep the quad still for steady shots.

Nevertheless, I think the stock camera yields very good quality video and it's just fun to fly this thing knowing it will do what it's supposed to.

I have been chronicling my experience with this quadcopter with video reviews and tests. This is my real-life unfiltered opinion over the span of my usage and ownership of the quad. I do not plan on doing any modifications until the quad has matured and I am ready to move on to the next GPS quad, so everything will remain stock until that time. So, you will see how this thing performs and holds up over time and learn as I learn along the way.
