I have done much more flying since I had my SuperCub. Recently I am back into glow (had an old Alpha 40; glow engine was unreliable. sold it all, but then won an Avistar in a raffle).
So I'm flying the Avistar (with a Super Tigre Engine--The 45
AWESOME Engine)
An F-35 64mm DF from nanna hobby (not as fast as I'd like)
E-Flite Grasshopper 250 (recently re-aquired in a trade. Might hold on to it this time)

I attempted a scratch build from flat foam; built up fuse and wing. Used the guts from an itroplanes.com Spitfire. Made it a 3 ch R/E/T. No dihedral, and the control surfaces were only 1" wide. Guess what happened?
First flight was great! I kept thinking to myself, "Wow. I actually designed and built something that flies". She was kinda floppy on the controls, but landed successfully. But I HAD to try her one more time. She nosed in from about 25-30 feet up, and was totally destroyed. I salvaged everything, and might work on a new design in the near future.
About a week ago I purchased a Keychain camera from an online store, and have made my first attempts at aerial video. Here is a link:

The Mini Swift recently flew at Heart of Texas Soaring Society (HOTSS) Ingram field in St. Hedgwick, Texas; East of San Antonio. Special Thanks to the HOTSS guys for inviting me out to fly on Wednesday.
