The Cutlass is a old kit by Global I built it for 2105 combat in the late 90's designed for a .09 , I shoe horned a Super Tiger .15 into it - It was fast Weighs in at 23 oz rtf....but will it slope ? -

A Wind rider Swift 2M Covered in 1.7 laminating film I added a ballast box holding 16 oz on the c/g for this outing -
Views: 35
During the second flight the wind picked up gusting over 30 mph at times . It flew well with the extra ballast but could use the steel rod modification inside of the carbon spars with the higher weight . It is really pretty in the air -

around 16 oz of lead -

The plywood box to keep everything secure . I used tape to hold the weight in this first time out to verify the c/g In the future I will install a blind nut and a screw to keep things in place, add or subtract weight

My molded Mini Machine from Dan's Extreme Glider's She cuts through the rough air and turbulence like a hot knife thru butter . -

Time for a maiden for a new to me Graupner ASW -22 Just rudder/elevator - she launched into the 20 mph wind hands off . She flew nicely but the over 20 mph gusts were bending the wings quite a bit , so I brought her in after a few minutes .
