I had a Bonanza when they were first available. It augured in a year after. Well, I’ve been lucky to piece one together. This one will be getting a different scheme. Looking forward to flying this one since that last one flew extremely well.

The maiden went better than I expected. It flys just as good as I remember. What a perfect airplane for light aerobatics.

Well, I’m finally done! I hope to maiden the B this weekend!

The B-25 and the F7F Tigercat.

Well, here is another one I'm getting ready for the St George Electric Fun Fly. With the 2 Park 480's and that thin wing, it won't be breaking any speed records but should scoot along pretty good.

Well, I had this one in my shop for many moons and decided to get it going. I always wanted to recover it in Joe Kasperoff's "The Believer". My only issue was if I was able to remove the fillet fairings without destroying them. One day, I was bored so, I pulled the fairings off without breaking them. YAY! Now, I'm off and running. Paint will be shot next week. Trying to get it ready for St George.

One night, in a far away land, I was bored!!! I decided to break out a couple of kits just to eye them since I was so bored. My 3 year old little man sat down next to me and asked, "can I help you put parts on your MAP?" The words an RC father desires to hear from their kids. "YOU BET BUDDY!!!" Well, he did help build and break stuff, requiring a few trips to the hobby store. He even glued his fingers together. Mom was not happy with that one! Now, I have a Bird of Time for future piggyback launches. Once I get back to the states, my Bud Nosen Trainer for Shuttle launches is next!

Now, I cant stop! The Pat Tritle Shoestring racer was next. What an awesome little airplane. Reminds me of a Jim Ryan type of quality kit. I hope to have it finished before the end of next week.

Great weekend of flying. We did encounter a black cobra though. We continued flying and he went about his own way.

I attended Warbirds over Las Vegas last weekend and it was awesome!!! A friend of mine (The Dave) called me the night before and said I should bring out the Cessna 310 as a military executive transport and he had some stars and bars to enhance it. Well, I had some black vinyl to cut out the USAF so, there you go. We were installing the decals in our pits and it couldn't have flown any better. The Hangar 9 Corsair was a blast as well. Especially chasing the Zero around!!!

I was blessed to be able to ride on this immaculate aircraft on Friday. Full glass cockpit installed. We departed McCarran airport, flew through many canyons and, did 3 landings on Lake Mead. Thanks to Dave for the awesome ride!!!

I love the flight profiles of a twin aircraft. I found this TF 310 kit on a RC classified site for a steal. Really, when I was loading it up in my truck, I felt like I had a gun and mask with me. Never the less, I knew it had to be converted to electric power. I removed all most 2 lbs of steel shot from the nose and fabricated battery boxes to install as far fwd in the nose as I could. Its powered with 2 Eflite Power 60's, 2 Castle ICE 100 ESC's and, 2 6s 5000 mAh Zippy batteries. After the maiden and 2 more flights today, this 310 flys awesome. Rock solid with no bad characteristics. TF nailed it with this one!!!

Well, I haven't built a plane in a while due to the quality ARF's that are available. I wanted to get back to my roots on actually building something, not just assembling a model. I've been a machine during this whole build. My wife is very supportive and just gave me a confused glare when I placed the fuse and wing on the warm stove just so the filler would dry faster. I married a saint! I covered the Ultimate completely in white Ultracote and used red and blue vinyl over the Ultracote for the scheme. Since this one will be powered with a Hacker, I don't need to worry about fuel proofing and this new trick I tried works extremely well. Getting closer and more reports later....

Just need to install all the radio and balance it (with the gear). The maiden will be this weekend.

I had the pleasure flying this beautiful C-47 this weekend which was built by my friend Bob. Its powered with 2 Eflite power 32's and is equipped with flaps and Robart retracts.
